The Biden Admin’s North Korea Policy Review will likely take a step-by-step/phased approach towards North Korea’s “complete denuclearization”, rewarding DPRK at each step w/ incremental sanctions relief.
2/However Kim Yo Jong has previously said (her 10 July 2020 remarks appear later in thread) that DPRK will reject any future “denuclearization for sanctions” schemes offered by the US. Biden’s NK Policy Review following Friday’s US-Japan-ROK Trilat NSA Dialogue then could be DOA.
3/Cue to 4:42:

Anchor: “The trilateral meeting this time this Friday may mean that we will soon see the conclusion of the Biden Administration’s North Korea Policy. What are you expecting.”

Dr Go: “So...From the reports coming out of Washington, it looks like the Biden
4/“administration is going to take a more realistic take...assess the situation more realistically about the prospect of North Korea’s complete denuclearization. And we know...basically [that] complete denuclearization is not going to be possible, at least in [the] short term. So
5/“I think the Biden Administration is going to essentially approach the denuclearization matter with a more step-by-step kind of approach, and essentially they’re going to have a phased approach, meaning they’re going to have multiple different steps toward denuclearization, and
6/“at the completion of each step, then North Korea is going to get some kind of reward from the international community, possibly in the form of sanctions relief. So when eventually North Korea gives up its nuclear weapons completely, then they will finally have complete
7/“relief, and even diplomatic recognition. So I think that’s what the content of the policy review will be, but we have to see whether that’s going to be the case.”

Good analysis by Dr Go. IMO if the Biden Admin’s NK analysts & policymakers factored Kim Yo Jong’s remarks into
8/their policy formulation they’d know this approach will likely b DOA.

Can one DPRK woman be smarter than all the male chauvinist suits in DC who deign not to factor DPRK’s Supreme Leader’s sister’s highly critical remarks into NK policy decision-making?
9/Make your own formulation but I say “Yes!”

Every NK analyst/policymaker in DC needs a crash course in Kim Yo Jong’s remarks, statements & criticism of the US.
Water Over The Dam: Kim Jong Un's Sister Kim Yo Jong Defines North Korea's Diplomatic Position
10/Seriously. You’d think Washington’s top brass in US-DPRK diplomacy would analyze every word of Kim Jong Un’s sister KYJ (first deputy director and de facto director of DPRK's PAD Nov 2014-present) but they don’t. Probably b/c they think: “She’s a girl.”
giphy.com/gifs/dosequisg…
11/Biden won’t w/ Kim Jong Un b/c he doesn’t believe in “Photo Ops”, “Reality TV Diplomacy” or “giving legitimacy” to KJU. Yet at the last DMZ Summit, Trump and Kim had a conversation we learned about thanks to Kim Yo Jong’s July 10, 2020 Press Statement.
12/This nugget of priceless insight into the timber and tone of US-DPRK negotiations shared w/ the world in casual frankness directly from DPRK’s Supreme Leader’s sister Kim Yo Jong in diplomatic transparency follows:
13/Kim Yo Jong: "When the DPRK-U.S. summit talks was held in Panmunjom on June 30, 2019, Comrade Chairman defined his clear position to the U.S. President, (who preached north Korea's bright economic prospects and economic aid and asked for further denuclearization measures as a
14/“a prerequisite), that we shall never barter our system, the safety and future of our people for the likes of lifting of sanctions of no guarantee in the hope for the glamourous transformation and the realisation of our dreams of rapid economic prosperity...
15/“From that time on, we completely ruled out the issue of lifting sanctions from the agenda of negotiations with the U.S.

I believe that the previous theme of the DPRK-U.S. negotiations, that is, “denuclearization measures versus lifting of sanctions" should be changed into a
16/“formula of "withdrawal of hostility versus resumption of DPRK-U.S. negotiations”.

We are fully capable of living under any sanctions, so there is no reason for us to be driven by the U.S..

I hope that the U.S., at this moment in time, does not harbour such a pipe dream as
17/“trying to restrike a bargain which was put on the negotiations table at the Hanoi summit talks, which entails the partial lifting of sanctions versus the permanent dismantlement of large-scale nuclear facilities like the ones in Nyongbyon, the central nerve of our nuclear
18/“development."

No one in the Biden Admin listened to Kim Yo Jong. 🤦‍♂️How dumb can they be? This utter failure to learn, adapt & go in a new direction will doom Biden’s North Korea Policy Review to failure and kick US-DPRK relations down the road as time slips into the future.
19/While

“Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future”,

a Biden Admin entrenched in Cold War policies that doesn’t to concede the end to the Korean War clings to the past and a waning Western hegemony.
20/As an old, feeble, senile, borderline-dementia “Leader of the Free World” blunders in US-DPRK relations, reflecting the US’s inability to adapt to new & changing times, I must attune to the PEACE that ends the Korean War that DPRK is struggling to win.
21/And if that PEACE could sing its words would be:

“I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
'Til I'm free”

PEACE must end the Korean War, not military conflict. Write yer Senators. We must all fight to WIN ☮️!

@duyeonkim @BulletinAtomic The US's nuclear triad is more dangerous and they know it. It is beyond ludicrous, it's delusional to think DPRK is planning to attack South Korea. They have a No First Use Policy and their nukes are only for defense if say the US attacked them. Besides
@duyeonkim @BulletinAtomic 2/attacking ROK/US/allies/territories would be suicide and DPRK definitely want's to survive - and thrive in socialist economic prosperity.

Why DPRK Has Nukes (A Primer)

You KNOW why DPRK has nukes right? The US, by its policy, can do a nuclear first
@duyeonkim @BulletinAtomic 3/strike on North Korea in the name of “self-defense”. Read John Bolton’s piece. DPRK has read it. So DPRK is deterring the US from attacking/regime change/nuclear first strike thru textbook deterrence theory. They just did self-defense exercises which every sovereign nation has

Nice unbiased piece by NPR about the Echo of Truth YouTube Channel hosted by Un A (which YouTube has subsequently taken down).

North Korea Makes A Push To Reach Foreign Audiences On YouTube And Twitter
npr.org/2020/08/12/901…
2/Apparently the modern, sexy, intelligent socialist woman Un A is DPRK overload and too much of an existential threat to the American propaganda machine. YouTube has aided and abetted the US’s “North Korea narrative” by cancelling Echo of Truth & maligning it as “propaganda”.
3/Being half-Asian myself I’ve gotta side w/ Un A and express how pathetic American social media is when, w/ clear ideological bias, it “cancels” - censors rather - DPRK’s new contemporary social media makeover. And what makes it worse is that “What’s Up Pyongyang” is anything

DPR Korea slams UN Double Standard after Missile Tests

[Mar 30, 2021]
Double Standard Will Invite More Serious Consequence

Press Statement of Jo Chol Su, Director-General of Department of International Organizations of the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs
2/“The Democratic People's Republic of Korea test-fired new-type tactical guided missiles on the 25th, which is the exercise of its fair and square right of self-defence to deter the military threat to the Korean peninsula and defend peace and prosperity of the state.
3/“However, there is an open dangerous attempt to deny the right of self-defence of our state.

The United Nations Security Council Sanctions Committee on DPRK held a closed-door working-level consultation hastily on the 26th, where the United States called for "tightening the

Whether The Armistice Will End In War Or Peace Hangs On Technicalities

The insidious “logic” underlying the US’s strategy on DPRK is this: As long as a peace treaty hasn’t ended the War, the Armistice is in effect, which means it’s still technically wartime, which means the US
2/can attack DPRK, attempt regime change and even launch a nuclear first strike in the name of self-defense at the opportune time. The moment a peace treaty is inked this opportunity is gone since in peacetime an attack on DPRK would technically be illegal.

Technicalities.
3/Of course DPRK’s leadership understands this only too well. They can virtually read the mind of the US DoD/MIC establishment. Which makes getting to peacetime (War officially, technically over) - by enduring sanctions & deterring the US from attacking - i.e. simply surviving,
