"Picked up" is a wrong word sir. I studied this book some years back and moved on. Now when I look back, I find this book decent for new entrants but reserve some disagreements with method used in it. Jyotish is always about continuous learning.

Yes, it takes some time to get comfortable with this book but it's a decent book to learn "predictions on chart", something that cannot be achieved after studying many books. But with many applications now becoming "KP friendly", this book is handy.
