A tool in the information warfare toolkit with the intent of siloing/dividing subscribers into limited info bubbles ripe for disinfo amplification & further division.
Remember in retaliation LM accused this account of anti semitism & posted purported photoshopped images as she did to Woky to smear his credibility.
Conclusion: if you are looking to block “TrumpTrolls” this blocklist won’t help”
Note I later learned in late November ‘17 Chief’s blocklist was not well curated as it was advertised to me, but rather it was a dump of Robin’s (🐕🙉) & Cassandra Fairbanks’ followers.
In other words 50% left wing/50% Right wingers were blocked.
Let’s piss off both sides. 🍿
Preet Bharara was included in Chief & LM’s blocklist, funny that.
@PreetBharara like Andrew McCabe have been widely scorned by LM.
“TrumpTrolls” nor “Putinbots” were effectively blocked by the blocklist.

Russia’s intent is to divide Americans, guess who helps?

The blocklist was used as an information warfare tool to divide Americans & silo them into controlled info bubbles that can and are manipulated to silence truth/critics, muddy water, seed disinfo and amplify distractions.
President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia authorized extensive efforts to interfere in the American presidential election to denigrate the candidacy of Joseph R. Biden Jr., including intelligence operations to influence people close to Trump. nytimes.com/live/2021/03/1…
The report did not name those people but seemed to be a reference to the work of Mr. Trump’s former personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani, who relentlessly pushed allegations of corruption about Mr. Biden and his family involving Ukraine.
"Our investigation linked this network to Roger Stone and his associates," he added. Several of those pages had links to Proud Boys, he said. cnn.com/2020/07/08/tec…
There's been a Proud Boy at the White House for 4 years and everyone's shocked about the pic from today," the extremist group wrote.
The Trump adm was forced to deny that Proud Boys chairman Enrique Tarrio had been officially invited to the WH ahead of a large MAGA rally taking place at the capitol in December.
On Parler, Tarrio uploaded a photograph of himself inside the WH gates.
Roger Stone’s Proud Boys, Seizing Trump’s Call to Washington, Helped Lead Capitol Attack

Also on November 5, Bannon started his own "Stop the Steal" Facebook group; he changed the name to "Own Your Vote" the following day. It was not removed by Facebook, but they did later remove several other pages affiliated with Bannon.
Roger Stone and Steve Bannon have been in full disinformation mode. Stone has appeared on the show of far-right radio commentator Alex Jones to trumpet groundless claims that Biden is trying to steal the election. cnn.com/2020/11/13/bus…
📌Reminder: Joe diGenova represents the interests of indicted Oligarch Dymtro Firtash, who largely bankrolled the smear campaign against the Biden’s, to help Trump defeat Joe Biden
Parnas’ wife received wire transfers from a bank account in Russia.
The sum was $1M.
Firtash provided key documents that Giuliani used to further his discredited claim that former Vice President Joe Biden engaged in wrongdoing in Ukraine.
Firtash hired two Trump-allied lawyers Victoria Toensing and Joseph diGenova who were already working with Giuliani on his dirt-digging mission, which has led to intense speculation that Firtash is helping to finance Giuliani’s Biden smear campaign
