1/12 I'm a content creator at heart.

It's what I do. It's what I love.

And CMO-ing in public at @copy_ai has made me realize:

I want to empower other creators even more.

But one area that's always been a struggle for me is online courses.
2/12 I built High-Performance Landing Pages a few months back.

It became clear how high the barrier to entry still was for making a course.

You could pick a good platform, but it costed a ton.

You could go with Gumroad, but it was disorganized.
3/12 And that's just for paid courses!

If you wanted to start a free course, the price points were impossible to accept.

So I started compiling thoughts about how this could change.
4/12 Some things that pained me as a creator:

- Online course platforms cost big $$$$$$
- Lotta copy/paste from notes to builder
- Some tools are less than organized
- You have to learn a whole new tool
5/12 And it eventually hit me:

I'm in Notion a lot.

I should build my course on top of that.

My notes are already there.

My thoughts are already organized in Notion.

Why am I moving between apps to build a course?
6/12 Alas, a good solution wasn't available.

Website builders on top of Notion exist, but they don't:

- Automatically format course content
- Give you templates to build a course on
- Easily gate content behind a paywall
- Integrate with an email platform
- And on and on and on
7/12 I'll be real with you:

I've had this idea for MONTHS.

But I sat on it.

Didn't build.

Almost let it die.
8/12 Then I joined @copy_ai.

I got re-inspired by our creative culture.

I found new ways to make the idea even better.

I had a super supportive leadership team (props to @chris__lu and @PaulYacoubian)

And I met @wenquai.
9/12 This thing kept coming back to me.

So I had to do 2 things:

1. Make sure the Copy team was cool with it
2. Getting Zack Lee on board as partner

Check and check.
10/12 Which brings us to this moment.

Right now.

Announcing the waitlist to a solution for a problem I've faced many times.

I'm excited, nervous, and confident.
11/12 You should join the waitlist if...

- You plan on making an online course ever
- You use Notion or want to use it
- You wanna support Zack and me
12/12 This is just the beginning.

I quit my job.

And I found a new home as CMO at @copy_ai

Let's celebrate with 2 things:

β†’ I'm giving away 10 lifetime accounts to Copy (see the very last tweet)

β†’ A mega-thread on the weird journey that led me here

Let's get it started πŸ‘‡
8 years ago, I was living in the south of France.

I lived in Carcassonne, Geneva, Bordeaux, and Lyon for 6 months each.

When I moved back to the USA to start college, I realized something kinda big:

I had ZERO pro skills or an idea of what I wanted to do.
Since I spoke French, I lucked my way onto the French team of a Utah-based SEO firm.

This was my first foray into marketing, and I did NOT intend to do it forever.

If the world’s classic inventions were startups today
(and what their logos would be)

A visual thread...
The lightbulb (Founded in 1878)

Would be called: Flairbnb
The airplane (Founded in 1903)

Would be called: PlaneX

Simple. To the point. Applies to many. Calls you out if you’ve been guilty of this.
Asks for RT. Hmm, almost like ASKING is your biggest barrier.
