1/ The pharma industry would have you believe that Statins are most beneficial in the early stages of Covid-19, so I guess they’re not going to fund any studies which contradict this theory. They would be shooting themselves in the foot. /2
2/ We know that Pandemic influenza infection causes increased oxidative stress, and that low levels of CoQ10 cause immune dysfunction. Statins interfere with the production of mevalonic acid, which is a precursor in the synthesis of Coenzyme Q10.
3/ Statins also act through the reversible block of the HMG-CoA reducing cholesterol synthesis and vitamin D production. Interventional and observational epidemiological studies show that vitamin D DEFICIENCY may confer INCREASED risk of influenza and respiratory tract infection
3/ We also know that lipoproteins including HDL, Chylomicrons, VLDL, and LDL can bind and neutralize LPS, Lipoteichoic acid, and VIRUSES, and can have an antiviral effect on RNA and DNA viruses by neutralizing them, regardless of whether they are enveloped or not.
3/ Dose-dependent 🔼 in glucose concentrations potentiate SARS-CoV-2 replication as well as ACE2 upregulation and cytokine production in monocytes suggesting 🔼 glucose as a principal promoter of virus replication & inflammatory response. Statins increase BG leading to T2D
4/ Sooo IMO We only get the truth from those who don’t have ‘skin in the game’ I encourage your comments !

1/ VACCINE: Definition "A product that stimulates a person's immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Remind me, how does that work with the Covid Vaccine ? It doesn't provide immunity, nor does it prevent the /2
2/ spread, so why are we touting it as a vaccine ? Given that the antibody response to the spike protein is so focused, could mutations in these restricted sequences lead to a less efficacious vaccine, if the human immune response is specific to the vaccine sequence?
/3
3/ These mutations might be driven by antigenic drift, or by selection, either during natural infection or due to the VACCINE itself. When a virus is grown under the selective pressure of a single monoclonal antibody that targets a single epitope on a viral protein,

1/8: Please chime in with your thoughts on Omega 3 vs Omega 6 ratios: Always open to new info.

Re: ω-3/ω-6 ratios. Anthropological & epidemiological studies indicate that human beings evolved on a diet with a ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 essential fatty acids of approx 1
2/8 Whereas in Western diets the ratio is 15/1 to 16.7/1 ++
I think we already know that ω-3 and ω-6 fatty acids are essential to the human diet, and that we do not need them in quantity. In fact, high amounts of ω-6 fatty acids cause systemic inflammation,
3/8 which is one of the principal reasons commercial seed oils are so DEADLY. They contain a high percentage as ω-6 fatty acids, and almost no ω-3 fatty acids. I don’t think fish oil is a panacea either. The only reason ω-3 fatty acids are of concern is that they compete

1/5 "Physicians, uninformed of how Statins really work have coined the "pleiotropic effect" of Statins, rather the what it really is: Poison from Pandora's box. For example, Statins suppress cell cycles of white blood cells.
2/5 Patients with autoimmune disease sometimes have "flare-ups" with elevated white blood cell counts. Because Statins block white blood cell turnover, people with autoimmune disease appear to be doing better because their white blood cell counts are down.
3/5 Doctors wrongly conclude that Statins have done some "good". Similarly, acute infections often elevate white blood cells. Since Statins block white blood cell cycles, Statins appear to decrease infections !

1/4 Tell me ? How much anecdotal evidence do we all need to get Statins off the market ? Here goes : FB Forum: " I stopped my statins a couple of weeks ago when I was having trouble walking. My muscles got better almost immediately. One leg is pretty much back to normal
2/4 but the other one still hurts so much. When I put any weight on it, it feels like the muscle is torn. So, what kind of testing can I have done to see what causes this ?

Reply: I have just found this thread how interesting! I too had terrible trouble walking,
3/4 so much leg pain that I had to keep stopping. I thought it must be my trainers, so bought new ones along with expensive insoles. I happened to have an immunologists appointment and he ordered, amongst other things, an MRI and found that I have a partially torn hamstring,

1/5 Love it love it ! - Statins Forum today - Makes my heart sing: - "Hi there! I’d like to share my story. I have known of my high cholesterol since I was 30 (now just shy of 49). High being over 425 regularly. I tried every statin there is only to have horrible side effects
2/5 eventually resulting in Rhabdomylosis. My cardiologist has been trying for over a year to put me on Repatha. I kept declining. Besides seeing the numbers on a lab report, I felt like a healthy female for my age. It didn’t feel like the right choice.
3/5 2 weeks ago my doctor suggested the CAC scan after seeing my cholesterol numbers (275 LDL/80 HDL. 386 total) He told me that if it comes back as zero he will drop the statin/injection discussion.

1/4 What a great question (thanks @TMackeown ). "Given that most of the deaths/serious effects of Covid-19 are in the elderly, who are also the most likely to have been on statins for some time, do you think there is a connection between the lowering of LDL/ApoB100 and the
2/4 susceptibility to infection - not just from MRSA ?"
If you google Statins/Covid you will find that statins are most efficacious in every way 😂 (We would expect that wouldn't we ?). However if we turn to independent researchers we find the truth.
3/4 See the link below

It gets worse because Statins act through the reversible block of (HMG-CoAR), thereby reducing cholesterol synthesis, 7-dehydrocholesterol and vitamin D production.
