In case you were wondering how much of your money Metro gave to Lyft because Metro can't seem to run trains late at night, here you go. #wmata

It's not that useful as is, but this is the format Metro provided. Perhaps someone smarter than I can get this into a spreadsheet to sum up the totals.
And yes, I'm still cut off from freedom of information requests of Metro. Arbitrarily.

This was obtained by someone else.

So soon? The 7000s must be worse than we know.
Subway cars should have decades-long lifespans. Metro renewed its fleet a couple years ago.
Take a look at how old some of the cars on the Tokyo subway are:

they don't require masks.

they say they do, but they don't.

the whole thing is absurd.
and since metro won't enforce their BS "requirement," exactly who did they think would?

the people that run metro are utter morons
i'm honestly surprised there haven't been several violent altercations because of the imbecility of the "policy."

For the people who don't really need it, Metro is a great transit system.

For those who desperately need it, it's a nightmare.
by people who don't really need it, i mean 9-5 office workers who've been teleworking since march. the same people who, when metro is melting down, can afford a surge price uber. they love the theory of metro.
and they love it because they're almost totally immune to it's many failings.

Metro still pushing their BS “required” line in their surveys.

No enforcement, no denial of service.
Are they contemplating enforcement?

Bad idea.
