I wanted to address some reviews I've seen. The fact is, I have no idea why Sea and Flame got marketed as a queer book. It's not. I am sorry for anyone who felt tricked, it wasn't my intention and the fact is I have little control over book marketing (contd.)
I didn't say much because I generally don't respond to reviews. But I think this is a little different and in light of everything I wanted to say something, and it's that I'm genuinely sorry if you feel like you were tricked into spending money. I hate that it couldn't stand...
On its own merits and got shown as something it's not. Anyways, the best queer book I read last year was Criers War. If you're looking for sapphic fantasy I highly recommend it.
Also let's take that "feel like you" out of there.
Just realized I put fact is twice in this tweet. Example number one of why I have an editor. Example two would be anyone who has heard me try to explain where commas go.
