a cooperation agreement. At his eventual sentence, the Gov will file a 5k1 substantial assistance letter IF Greenberg complies w/ his obligations as a cooperating witness especially always being truthful/forthcoming. The 5k1 will be the only way he can receive a sentence below

any applicable mandatory minimum term of imprisonment, as well as allowing him a significant downward departure below his otherwise applicable sentencing guideline range. Greenberg has significant incentives to cooperate for this reason.

This will all take place behind the scenes and he will likely remain detained but this may be negotiated to a home incarceration instead of a detention facility.

I expect there to be significant corrobation of Greenberg's account in the way of video/audio recordings, documents, texts, emails, & other witnesses. Gaetz may not be the only target.
