Biden Just Took Your Guns, Blasting the Second Amendment
Not one of these dictatorial actions will reduce gun crime
Read my analysis on Substack: emilymiller.substack.com/p/biden-just-t…
“Anyone from a criminal to a terrorist can buy this kit and in as little as 30 minutes can put together this weapon,” said Biden.
“Ghost gun” is a scary term but it's not a major source of gun crime and definitely not being used by terrorists.
Biden on AR-15 pistols: "It is more lethal, effectively turning it into a short barreled rifle."
AR pistol is just a handgun w/collapsible stock and longer barrel. It is not “more lethal” and not a major source of gun crime, but, like all gun grabbing ideas, they look scary.
White House defines the new gun category regulated by ATF as “pistol w/an arm brace which can make a firearm more stable and accurate while still being concealable.”
Concealable? You’d have to be either 8' tall or wearing an enormously oversized winter coat to hide an AR pistol
“We know red flag laws can stop mass shooters before they act out their violent plans,” declared Biden without any specific example of this.
His other justifications: reducing suicide (not a crime) and helping women being abused at home (already a law.)
The title of my first book was "Emily Gets Her Gun, But Obama Wants to Take Yours."
The Left has mocked me on TV, social media and in writing about the subtitle.
“No one wants to take your guns,” they say with a patronizing tone.
Well, folks, Obama's VP Biden just did it.
The federal government is at its height of power after a year of lockdowns & emergency orders for COVID pandemic. It's alarming that Pres. Biden is using his power to go after the one right that Founding Fathers said is used to fight back against a tyrannical govt. #GunControl

I’m reading @ShannonBream new book “The Women of the Bible Speak” and learning so much I never knew in their stories. Her book also challenges me to look harder at my own faults and faith and areas I need to work on more.
This part in the chapter on Sarah really made me think of how I can be overly judgmental of others.
“It’s as if God sometimes has to pry us out of our comfort zones before He can accomplish his purposes through us. We often need to be jostled into a radical dependence on God before He can make real spiritual progress.” -@ShannonBream about Ruth in “The Women of the Bible Speak”
I'm very curious how this CNN special with the doctors - Fauci, Hahn, Birx - will portray them and how much blame they take themselves for the COVID response.
Dr. Fauci: "The decision we made on Jan. 10th to go all out and develop a vaccine may have been the best decision that I've ever made in regard to an intervention as the director of the institute." #CovidVaccine
CNN's Sanjay Gupta: "The life-saving and record-breaking vaccines that Dr. Fauci oversaw were a giant success for 'The Doctors' and for science and for the world."
