Newspaper articles don't overturn the consensus that Jesus was a historical figure. Newspaper articles aren't the same as academic journals and books that confirm Jesus' historicity. Jesus Mythicism is the fringe.
Just in case there are people who are still convinced that both newspaper and newsmagazine articles on academic subjects outweigh academic literature on said subjects:
Here is another example:
postregister.com/opinion/guest_…
"Oh, a NEWS ARTICLE states that there is not serious consensus on climate change! Oh, well we have to believe that, because JOURNALISTS know more about climate than climate scientists do! Screw the climate scientists! Drill baby drill!"
This is the same kind of argument that
Jesus Mythicists will use when posting that pitiful excuse for a news article promoting Jesus Mythicism. It does to history what a newspaper posting a pro-flat earther article would do to geology.

The earth is round.

Jesus is a historical figure.

Actually, the Judeo-Christian God does not need prophets. He actually spoke for himself on several occasions to humans (Gen 1:28-30,2:16, 3:8-21,4:9-15, 6:13-22, Exodus 3:1-22, see also the incarnate Christ in the Gospels). God doesn't need prophets to convey his message, anymore
than you need your children (if you have any) to clean their own rooms. Its not a question of need, its a question of choice. And as for trusting flawed, sinful humans to speak for him; parents will at times trust their children, who are not as intelligent or as mature as
adults are, to clean their own rooms when they give them the order to do so. If they mess up, the parents come in and point out where they did mess up (such as leaving a toy on the floor), so that the kid can fix the problem. They may also watch the kid to make sure that they

@WhoWouldWin13 Okay, let's face it: Zealot's are TOUGH!

VERY tough!

As a basic footsoldier, Protoss Zealots are more formidable than either Terran Marines or Zerglings. I remember when I first encountered the Protoss while playing Starcraft. I was sending a lone marine to explore the map
@WhoWouldWin13 when low and behold, a Protoss Zealot walked right past him. They stopped less than a split second later, both units having reached their destination. Less than a split second later, they turned and fought each other, the Protoss Zealot taking the Marine down in a few seconds.
@WhoWouldWin13 I always got a laugh out of that, but that experience taught me just how tough the Protoss basic units were. Zealots are big, super strong, wear armor and energy shields. They have psionic blades for crying out loud! Its possible that the latter could cut through Rita's giant

@WhoWouldWin13 Both monsters are...Big.

I mean...really big.

Godzilla I believe is pushing 380 feet high at least (in some scenes he looks WAY much taller than that), while the Kraken is likewise several hundred feet high. Its quite possible that Godzilla has more intelligence (the Kraken
@WhoWouldWin13 is said to not think, while Godzilla shows some smarts). Also, unlike the Kraken, Godzilla has a projectile weapon; atomic breath.
@WhoWouldWin13 However, before we give Godzilla any semblance of a victory, we need to keep in mind that the Kraken didn't fight fellow monsters like Godzilla has.

He fought TITANS!
