I suggest the energy company @Essent takes better care of its customer records. I'm currently giving a dark web course and we stumbled on somebody who claims he is selling 2.000.000 records of customers. Next tweets: how and why? (1/...)
The @essent records are sold for 0.07 € a piece and can be filtered on anything you want: age, place, male, female, date of the contract. The illegally obtained records contain phone nr, e-mail, full name, birthdate and IBAN (2/...)
The 2.000.000 @essent confidential customer records are, according to the seller, sold to "mapsers, call centers, "schetsers and oplichters" (= swindlers) and to use to convince bonkers (=victims)" The seller uses a photo of @essent office in Telegram (3/3)

The scam was even promoted by @indiegogo in this tweet (2/2)
Buyers filed a complaint via Hong Kong police. I accept the risk that you can buy a pig in a poke via crowdfunding platforms, but think @indiegogo has a special responsibility when they promote a scam themselves. Till now their answer is: not our problem. (3/3 end)

The problem: I want to find a specific location, say Homs in Syria, and a specific date (because of fighting/bombing that day). Scroll down whopostedwhat.com Now the page for Homs is instagram.com/explore/locati… Enter it. Choose a date. Search. Now look at, confusing, "Recent" !
The problem: sometimes it is hard to find the proper hashtag for keyword search in Instagram. The tool keywordtool.io/instagram shows you the most popular ones - with fuzzy search, so you are allowed to type in just a few digits.
