in general as tw1tter is ephemeral / always rolling forward im working on easier ways for people to keep up with whats g0ing on at the studio (email list / section of my site / telegram / system of tunnels etc), thats kind of a spring / summer project

i have been summoned for a rare evening of leaving the studiolo, to attend some film screening. "godzilla vs king kong". slightly perplexing. why would they fight. they have the same enemies. urbanism, humanity in general, perhaps california. i suppose this will be revealed to me
wife has this thing, lets say she is taking "a medicine" that gives her hypersensitive smell. so i cant cook anything in my house. i have only eaten cold meat + such things for weeks. i have ascended beyond barabarian status. tonight i may procure some warm meat, while i am "out"
remembering that a godzilla type creature features prominently in one of the proto-owen images, so many years ago. perhaps it is time to revisit this theme, flesh out its subtilties. i have always enjoyed mothra, who i have not seen in films but had a toy of as a child
most interesting thing about being obsessed with tracking the zeitgeist (ie being a nerd obsessed with random things that happen) (me) is realizing nothing “the spectacle” ever does can be seen by normal people as strange. they just have people do stuff like this + they accept it
its tautological that nothing on tv or in the media can be weird or strange for most people. they could come out tomorrow and say “everyone is eating cardboard to save the pandas” and people would just be like, “yeah, i knew about that before, thats how things are, of course”
a somewhat delusional part of myself thinks one genesis of this has something to do with people living through the media lying to get us into the iraq war and being unable to deal with the implications of that so they just put up a wall and accept everything now but probably not
most days i walk my dog past a field full of cows. i look up, theyre frozen. staring at my dog: a cattle dog. they know. they intuitively know they are subservient to her. she doesnt care, hardly looks up, but they know. i feel like a dick saying it but many people are like this.
out of all the people in my life, online, offline, family, old friends, maybe in a classroom, anywhere, who have ever had a problem with me, know how many of them have ever actually just straight up talked to me about it. zero. never. because they know. they know their own nature
even on here, this is just an accelerated example of real life, im too busy for it to bother me but its just interesting, if i see someone talking shit or having the wrong idea about me, sometimes ill hit them up. ask whats up. man to man. they never respond. ever. not once. ever
normies still dont get what NFTs are which is totally fine and extremely understandable but the narrative they got funneled into about it being some type of hyper-nefarious scam is really something
they cant see any of the massive other nefarious collusions you try to show them but suddenly everyone that ever had a deviant art account has cracked the code and realized that theres a multi level scheme to get people to sell digital art in a new way and plz dont get sucked in
i havent done any NFT stuff so i guess im neutral, im definitely not against it, but i would put money on it being an emergent tech that will pop off in art and video games (especially video games), once its rebranded and given a social media / normal people friendly interface
