Where was the RAV4 being moved from?
- East Twin River/Old Mishicot Dam Turnabout?
- A hiding place near Avery Road and WI-147?
When was the battery installed?
- Before or After?
Why the three HRD dog alerts on Conveyor Road?
(7) Conditions on 11/05/2005:
Civil Twilight 5:57 AM
Sunrise 6:27 AM
Pam and Nikole Sturm at Teresa's Home ~9:00 AM
Pam and Nikole at Avery Propery ~10:00 AM
(8) Let's look at Avery Road near WI-147 with @googleearth. First, the latest images:
(9) Here's some of the latest ground views. Given that they were pushing the RAV4, I think the closer hiding places are the most likely.
(10) Here is a Historical View from 12/31/2004.
A couple of homes off of WI-147 are nearby.
(11) A Historical View from 5/31/2005. Close-ups of the two nearby homes off of WI-147.
(12) If the location of the RAV4 was near this location, it suggests Bobby intercepted Teresa early on her path out.
If Steven really saw her turn left toward Larrabee, it's likely one of the first properties after turning left.
There actually are a lot of woods there.
(13) If Steven had conflated his past memories with this one, Teresa may have turned right, making the quarry and the houses on the corner of Jambo Creek Road the most likely locations.
(14) So Bobby's pushing the RAV4 onto Avery Property w/help from an older friend, who is aware that the activity is nefarious (hides per new witness).
Was the key lost?
Was the battery missing or dead?
If they had the key, maybe they decided to get a battery from the the ASY.
(15) It's hard to reconcile this story with Wilmer Siebert, unless they were startled when the newspaper delivery man drove by, decided to go ahead and get a battery, and then pulled the Jambo Creek caper.
Perhaps the new witness has the date wrong too.
(16) Monday was 10/31 and Friday was 11/04. On 11/03, Bobby and Mike Osmunson are making jokes with Steven in Bobby's garage. The 11/05 date seems too late.
This would be very, very bold after 6:37pm on 11/03.
(17) This would leave 11/01 to 11/03 as the most likely nights Bobby would have had to move the RAV4. This also corresponds with Wilmer Siebert's window.
Perhaps they get the battery and put it in and get back on the road just after sun up; then they get the old man's Jeep.
(18) It's also possible that Bobby takes one of the ATVs to bring the battery back to the RAV4. The battery weights 36 lbs. and is quite dense.
Earl drives a White Arctic Cat, and Earl isn't at the yard early in the morning.
(19) By this theory, the battery is replaced on Avery Road just before sunrise. They get the RAV4 started & get out of Dodge. They either took the White ATV/UTV or go get the accomplice's Jeep.
If the RAV4 was dead when Bobby went back for it, they couldn't have pushed it far.
(20) This also might explain why Bobby looked for the blood, or some other evidence to incriminate Steven, to plant in the RAV4.
He knew he was planting it near his own home; he needed a smoking gun to point at Steven. Steven puts that episode on the evening of 11/03.
(21) So where were they pushing the RAV4 from?
If this happened the morning of 11/03, before MTSO is watching, and the blood was stolen that night and immediately planted, it won't be in the 11/04 flyover.
Let's start with the CASO and MTSO Reports.
(22) CASO pg 74: Steven Avery picked up Earl at Earl's home at 6:30 am on 11/03/2005, and they didn't back the yard until 3:15 pm.
With Chuck in the office, and Steven and Earl away, this may have been an ideal day to go in the pit, undetected.
(23) CASO pg 259: Michael Osmunson talks about 10/10/2005, but we think he means 10/03/2005.
Bobby has told Mike that Steven had big fires on 10/01/2005 or 10/02/2005.
(24) Well this is definitely best left to @Joriz74, but let's take another look at the CASO fly-over video.
(25) Now that I'm seasick, I did find one shot that is from so far away it's ridiculous.
(26) So with Steven and Earl away on 11/03/2005, this looks like the best fit for the Bobby Dassey-RAV4 sighting.
11/05/2005 is just too late, providing no explanation for the 11/04/2005 evening shenanigans, conflicting with Wilmer's statement, and clearing the Sturms.
(27) If Ryan Hillegas is innocent, his first opportunity to search for the RAV4 is the evening of 11/03/2005. It has to be by the pond that night, or he can't show its location to Law Enforcement after the failed fly-over.
(28) It's been a while since we researched RAV4 sightings north of the ASY, but I think it's time to look up some old files on reddit and see what we found.
(29) Here's a good list of sightings, generated by u/Sarah1863 of r/TickTockManitowoc.
This misses Thomas Sowinski, but is pretty current other than that.
(30) Ervin Koehnke reported a sighting in a turnaround on STH 147 east of I43 on 11/03/2005.
The turnaround closest to I43 is shown on the right.
(31) Several witnesses (Kevin Rahmlow, Pam Sturm, ...) reported an abandoned SUV at the East Twin River/Old Mishicot Dam Turnaround.
(32) Robert Fabian saw "a green jeep backed all the way up in a parking area on STH 147 by the river" (CASO pg 320).
This location is thought to be the same location identified by Kevin Rahmlow, and near the location where Pam Sturm found a discarded cell phone (CASO pg 185).
(33) Paul Burdick also provided a sworn affidavit:
"I saw a vehicle parked by the old dam on the North side of [STH 147]. It was around dusk, ...: It was a small SUV, greenish in color. It was facing Northwest and parked facing a tree."
(34) So the most likely location for the RAV4 to have been stashed is the turnaround located near the Old Mishicot Dam, but that location is a couple of miles from the location Bobby Dassey is seen by the new witness. Is that too far to push?
(35) The speed limit on WI-147 is 45 mph, and people familiar with the drive undoubtedly go 60 mph.
Pushing a car on WI-147 for two miles without emergency flashers would be very dangerous.
It could also attract police.
(36) Just spitballing:
Why wouldn't someone camouflaging the RAV4 remove the tire cover?
(37) It's occurred to me that the best way to push a car is to have one person steering and one person pushing from the rear.
Pushing the car by the door frame with the front doors open is not ideal, and would definitely not work on WI-147. Were they really pushing the RAV4?
(38) Does Blaine's story about seeing Bobby in another green/blue vehicle on 10/31 offer any clues to what we are missing?
(39) I'm pretty sure there are aerial photos of a Chevy Blazer parked near the entrance to the salvage yard. Maybe Bobby did that and drove Teresa off in her RAV4.
Also, perhaps Bobby parked the RAV4 near where the Blazer was on his return trip.
(40) Could Bobby have been referring to Avery Road, when he said "It was hit right up the road from our house"?
(41) Bobby's work weekend starts Friday morning about 6:00 AM and goes to 10:00 PM on Sunday. This would make Saturday morning his first one free each week, and he would have been adjusted to staying awake from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
(44) Some more from Captain Flyover - the Black and Red Chevy Blazer at the entrance of the Avery Auto Salvage Yard, believed to not be Bobby's, but....
(45) Suspiciously close proximity between Bobby sighting, the Road Kill deer, and a White Stone Quarry.
(46) 2011 Sat Photo provides better view of the pathways through the White Stone Quarry.
(47) The evidence photo of one of the Blazers has 4 yellow fog lights mounted on top. The one by the gate doesn't have any.
(48) I take that back, the lights may be there but be filthy or very dark when in shadow.
(49) More from @Joriz74: To push the RAV4, you would have to have the key in the "ON" position, otherwise the steering would be locked.
(50) Michel's Quarry before (left) and after (right) the crime. Two bloody samples were taken from here "AM" and "AN". Culhane said they were blood, but not human.
(51) The new theatre of interest:
(52) A 2011 Look at the Propane Tank station off of Avery Road.
(53) I've added my suspected location of the Valders Co-Op Propane Service, per @SerdonerMj's references.
(54) 2021 Google Earth Photos: It's possible the Propane Service was the location across WI-147 to the North labeled Fuelgas (shown left, here), but I seem to remember it being the location on Avery Road labeled Country Visions Cooperative (right).
Can anyone confirm?
(55) More from @Joriz74: Attention returns to the suspicious deer butchering performed by Bobby Dassey in his family's garage.
@Joriz74 notes that Bobby's yellow ATV is located here, behind the hanging carcass.
(56) Observant @Joriz74 spotted Bobby's ATV outside of his garage during Steven Avery's daytime TV Interview on 11/04 on Action 2 News.
(57) Perhaps a lead on the Gun Dealer in Manitowoc that Bobby called that Halloween night.
(63) Possible Last Address for Lois Hansen, Kevin Hansen's mother.
It is very close to the Zipperer's home.
(64) Kevin Hansen's Mom's property lies on the path between the Avery's Auto Salvage Yard and George Zipperer's home.
(65) This may be Kevin Hansen's current business in Sheboygan, WI.
(66) I do not know the origin of the picture on the left, but the picture on the right is a recent picture posted on the Molly's Cobbler Shop Facebook Page.
(67) @ZellnerLaw has been notified of my findings regarding Kevin Hansen.
(68) Two Addresses on County Road B, between George Zipperer's home and the Avery Auto Salvage Yard are associated with family members of Kevin Hansen.
(69) One of the two Hansen properties is on the West Twin River Riverfront (6416 County Rd B).
Remember, Bobby Dassey searched for the phrase "drowned girl" repeatedly, though I think he also spelled it many other ways.
(70) The property looked very similar on 6/3/2006:
(71) The 2011 Sat Photo is much clearer than the earlier ones. There appears to be a home, a detached garage, and a third structure, smaller than the garage. There is also a thick wooded area immediately west of the property.
(72) Zooming in further, we see the third structure is actually comparable in size to the garage. We can also see a blue/green pick-up truck in this 2011 Sat Photo.
(73) The building next to the property appears to be Shoto Corporation (shotocorp.com). It appears to be a furniture factory. The company history verifies that.
(74) The ground level shot of 6416 County Road B, Two Rivers, WI, shows how secluded the back yard is from the street. It also reveals that the blue/green vehicle is not a pickup truck, but more of a compact SUV. The other angle may be showing us a tilt trailer.
(75) Some obsessed case followers may notice that the three buildings at the property are not too dissimilar from the drawings made by a renowned psychic, shown below.
(76) There are some things that seem right about the psychic's description, and some things that seem wrong, but we don't really believe in psychics, do we?
(87) The suspect worked at Manitowoc Cranes in Manitowoc:
Could there be a Smelter and a Sikikey?
(88) The property at 6451 County Road B, Two Rivers, WI still has Hansen on its mailbox, as of the last Google Street Level photograph.
(89) It seems like a well kept property with two separate garages and a boat on a trailer. The two trucks in the driveway do not match the trucks in Kevin Hansen's Facebook profile.

(2) Witness who delivered papers saw Bobby and another unidentified older male pushing a dark blue RAV4 down Avery Road on the right side toward the junkyard.
(3) Bobby was shirtless, even though it was November.
Witness says second man was in 50's or 60's, had a long grey beard, wore a worn puffy jacket, larger frame, maybe 6' in height.
(1) The dust-free bullet fragment w/Teresa Halbach's planted DNA was found on top of white cement dust that did not exist in Steven Avery's garage until Law Enforcement (LE) generated it w/a jack hammer the night before. LE testified it was photographed exactly as they found it.
(2) Had the AirUp Tire Inflator and Sealer can found under the front passenger seat of Teresa Halbach's RAV4 been used?
(3) Apparent color varies with lighting and adjustments made during processing and editing.

(2) Well it took a long time, but I finally re-reviewed all the dog scent and alert data with the new knowledge I received from Jeff Young. The pandemic delayed me, but I was not deterred.
(3) I looked at each track under multiple working theories:
- Tracking or Air Trailing
- Teresa's Scent
- Freshest Scent Trail
- Contaminator of Scent Article/Carrier of Teresa's Scent
- Other training goal (drugs/human remains/explosives)
(1) Loof Science II - Chapter 8: Call to Action re Operation Dog Nose and Operation Minelab
Cremains likely remain along many of the Loof Tracks. A top HRD dog could help us find them.
The Tracks also provide places to look for Buried Evidence w/a SotA Metal Detector.
(2) One thing Jeff Young told me about his Scent and HRD dog Zoe was how far K9 training had progressed since 2005 and how sensitive Zoe's nose was for cremains.
I believe Jeff said he had worked cases with 10 year old cremains and felt 20 year old cremains were possible.
(3) We think Teresa's cremains were buried at the Kuss Rd. Burial Site because the uprooted tree hole was easy to dig out, and then excavated by Law Enforcement and carried to the berm, and on to Steven's burn pit.
