Federal Court of Canada Decision

Former Nigerian Police officer & member of SARS unit left Nigeria for USA in 2016, then crossed to Canada to make refugee claims.

He was found inadmissible & refused refugee status for his involvement in SARS activities. decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decision…
"Mr. Popoola is a citizen of Nigeria and a former member of the Nigerian Police Force.

He was found to be inadmissible to Canada because there are reasonable grounds to believe that he engaged in crimes against humanity while serving as a police officer in Nigeria."
"He now seeks judicial review of his determination of inadmissibility.

I am dismissing his application because the decision-maker reasonably assessed relevant factors for deciding whether Mr. Popoola made a knowing & significant contribution to the crimes committed by the NPF."
My Lord, The Honourable Justice Sébastien Grammond has set a judicial precedent.

1) I think it’s important to know the study pattern that works for you

I don’t study overnight, I don’t study beyond 10pm. I’m up like 5am to study

I also pace & organize my readings, I set daily targets & work towards them

In my undergrad, I don’t joke with my midterm exams
2) Midterms were 40% & Finals were 60%. The classes covered before midterms are nothing, so it’s easy to read all... I rarely score less than 35% in midterms

The As were 70s, so I work towards 37-45/60 in finals

75A was good for me. My joke was “I don’t need anything above 75”.
3) It’s important to keep good companies. We were a clique of 4 called “The cabals” then

We were an accountability group. We don’t even study together because we had different study patterns, but we revise together close to the exam & share resources.

And enjoy life together 😂
