President Biden at remarks for Officer Evans as he lies in honor today addresses Evans' mother, "Mom, I didn't know Billy, but I knew Billy. I grew up with Billies. Billy was always the kid who when you got in a fight, even if you were outnumbered, he'd still jump in."
President Biden says he understands - he has buried his own. He knows what it is like - everyone comes to you and says they know what it is like, they mean well, but you get to a place where you want to say, You have no idea.
