• Bring command of police department under office of the mayor
• Relieve City Manager Boganey
• Pass resolution in support of relieving Police Chief Gannon and Officer Potter, who killed Daunte Wright

Black Lives Matter protester calls out the police and mayor of Brooklyn Center, MN:

“No more racial profiling … I’m sick and I’m tired and it’s people like you and you. You can look away all you want to … You can take the trash out, but it has a way of recycling itself.”

Brooklyn Center, MN, Mayor Mike Elliot: “I am calling on the governor to exercise his authority and to move this case from Washington County to under the jurisdiction of the attorney general.”

“We were going through our own processes … but the officer resigned, so we have that resignation at this moment.”

New Brooklyn Center, MN, Police Chief Tony Gruenig: “I don’t have a plan … I was appointed the chief an hour ago … We want to do things that the community members would like to see us do.”
