Pm & ST both assured continuation of Economic Policy this Govt adopted to address external imbalances. ST supports the idea of Growth only within the academic context & not as of a political approach that might land Pak back into BoP crisis.
Hammad Azhar is an emerging star & would always be an integral part of Decision Makings, ST said, assured to work within the domain of Finance Ministry dealing with fiscal policy along with raising Investment to GDP ratio to promote Revenue Collection.
Agrees with Circular Debt placing Pak in Catch 22 situation as well as raising electricity base tariff could spike inflation, which he thinks he can deal with by seeking help from Chinese IPPs by requesting to review PPA’s.
