The cancer cells of Hindutva were reared, nurtured in the Hindutva lab of Gujarat in 2002. They could easily identify, produce and deploy 2 ‘gems’ now ruling the country. They can rub, cut, tear, shear anyone and anything. These ‘robots’ are made and meant to be heartless.
/1
RSS needed a mask of Vajpayee. But they removed the mask way back in 2002 for their experiments in Gujarat.
The virus naturally does not need a mask as it is counterproductive when its agenda is to exponentially grow into a full-blown communally divisive, destructive disease.
/2
Incidentally & accidentally India had a breathing space between NDA 1 and 2. Otherwise, the transition to fascism would have been complete long back.

It takes time to groom villains as heroes. They needed an incubation period & carriers like Anna Hazare to spread the disease.
/3
Once in power, they started their experiments with errors, terrors, horrors. They were natural symptoms of cancer within. The 2 heroes were never short of energy to ensure their growth. The media, independent institutions, courts succumbed to their political manoeuvres, games.
/4
Their crudity, arrogance, absurdities were in full flow. The untruths, illegalities, moralities were never a hindrance in their world of realpolitik. Still, they are not invincibles. But Modi, Shah love this perception floated around even by the opposition supporters & people.
/5
Many tend to brand people becoming communal and claim that the divisions, hatred ensured the electoral victories of Modi. It may be true in some areas/ pockets.
But India has not become Gujarat. If Modi’s failures build up frustrations, Gujarat may join India’s secular stream.
/6
Multiple reasons contribute to successes and failures. We cannot see anything in isolation. We cannot ignore any of them; should give appropriate weightage for each factor.
The absence of a viable alternative, EVMs, media, so-called independent institutions helped Modi’s wins.
/7
The successes also teach lessons. We neither learn from our defeats nor successes.
The wins in Chhattisgarh, MP, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jharkhand; partial successes in Karnataka, Maharashtra; gains in Gujarat, Haryana; failures in Goa, Manipur, Bihar have many +ve, -ve signals.
/8
Have they analysed? The media reports only reflect that proper discussions & a dispassionate analysis are nonexistent.

The structural weaknesses of Congress, absence of cooperation, coordination to discuss and evolve appropriate decisions contributed to the air of negativity.
/9
The truth is the entire opposition parties, groups, supporters, people who are aware of the monumental failures of the Modi regime and the entire support system, have failed to fully explore, analyse, present and fight against them in a way that is very much legally possible.
/10
Still, negativity is floating around. If Modi is invincible how some of the opposition wins, gains were possible. The only positivity was contributed by Modi’s failures, protests by CAA, farmers showing indomitable spirit. Modi is not invincible. We should change our mindset.

This is the last part of my new blog post now completed but yet to be posted on my website.

It is really incomprehensible and unrealistic for Modi, Shah to tolerate all efforts needed to keep up with this farce of democracy, elections, campaigning, seeking votes, when the Kingdom with all powers are in their hands with people begging for mercy & are ready to oblige.
/1
They are expending all their patience to wait unjustifiably for the total conversion into a fascist state. But they are quite adept at adapting to all situations.
They are trying to manage with their version of Democracy or Realpolitik, based on practicality not on morality.
/2
Modi, Shah are shrewd enough to understand that when they are in the business of democracy, they are to push right buttons at the right time to make optimum use of resources to manufacture majority.
They cannot be in a hurry as they are to deal with people in addition to EVMs.

We cannot yet say the countdown of Modi’s fascist regime has begun. It has not acquired the necessary pace, force, momentum to set the time schedule.

Some signals are available about Modi losing grip over his power and its misuse. That is the beginning of the end of fascism.
/1
Much hope for the opposition parties was not due to their own efforts but due to failures, arrogance, the overconfidence of Modi regime, the usual traits of a fascist.

The first turning point that emerged over the last 7 years was the peaceful democratic protest against CAA.
/2
But Covid gave some breathing space to Modi regime and the movement lost its momentum.
The hopes again revived and kept alive by farmers’ protests when the election schedule and the recent 2nd wave of Covid stole some of its limelight.
But the ruthlessness of rulers continued.

Rahul is repeatedly emphasising on various platforms the need for discussions, interactions, negotiations. This is almost totally neglected, absent.
It gives primacy to the merit of the issues, not individuals. This is the need of the hour and a democratic right of the people.
/1
Most of the misunderstanding, disputes, issues are due to the absence of continuous dynamic discussions with a focus to eliminate points of irrelevance and consolidate views, evolve solutions with consensus or majority opinion. We are not enlightening people but burning homes.
/2
Rahul has turned the pages of Congress history, reverted to its principles and Gandhi’s call to look inwards.
It is very sane and wise to adopt this approach by all, irrespective of the party, groups they belong.
But those who thrive on confusions, divisions will reject them.

Sonia respects past practices, negotiations to cautiously steer Congress party.
These negotiations & discussions were between senior trusted leaders as she was relying more on them for expertise, information, execution.
The decisions naturally protected leaders, not the party.
/1
It is advantageous to keep traditional practices. But they are to be analysed periodically or even concurrently both for successes & failures.
There is always a constant deterioration. Even for maintaining status quo, there is need for improvement, changes.
That includes INC.
/2
But continuing with past practices without appropriate evaluations will work against revival and restructuring.

It may hurt some when pragmatic, analytical decisions are evolved and implemented. So such problematic issues are avoided and the deterioration continues.

What was the position of Rahul in 2019? Has he gained in strength, stature, acceptability and credibility?
He speaks out his mind more frequently of late in measured steps. His vision, perception, path, target are very clear. He is tightening his grip over Congress and masses.
/1
The signals are subtle as Rahul is not rushing through the process.

We are to understand the situation as it existed in Congress before 2019. Then connect the various signals to perceive the hidden logics and their connectivity to visualise developments in right perspective.
/2
Bringing transformations in Congress structure, practices are not so easy. There can be diverse views in a democratic party.

But their uniformity in lure for power, positions than for Congress principles, culture & the political direction required, hurt its survival, revival.

Rahul - Aikido tips to students:
Some impressions:

The simplicity, the ease with which he walks down and mingles with young students, make them feel so comfortable.
He readily accepts a request for teaching Aikido.

/1
He demonstrates a technique that is useful to them.
He picks up the shoes of a girl to keep them aside saying I do touch shoes no problem(1.20).
His spirit and intent are down to earth.
He listens, interacts, discusses, observes and clarifies even the minutest points.
/2
It indicates the extent to which he is clear about principles, concepts.
He extrapolates Aikido for using inner strength; true empowerment of women.
He even relates it to Congress(3.27), how it gains strength from opposing forces.
Rahul knows it better about himself, Congress.
