Asked DCs to ensure maximum participation of public & their representatives while formulating the #DistrictDevelopmentPlan of their respective districts.

#Janbhagidari to be the foundation of formulation & implementation of the Plans.

Hold regular interactions with #DDCs, #BDCs and #GramSabhas; maintain regional balance; ensure uniform distribution of funds.

We want to make #JammuAndKashmir best model of decentralization and grassroots participatory planning.

A massive amount of Rs 12599.33 cr earmarked for overall #DistrictsPlan this year.

Monthly Evaluation & outcome framework to be developed for achieving High Visibility, Impact & Implementability.

Around 30 lakh people, with one-third women expected to participate in the planning exercise; Execution of District Plan to be performance indicator of Deputy Commissioners.

Directed DCs to develop district dashboard for indicating the status of projects

All Universities & Colleges in J&K shall remain closed for imparting on-campus / in-person education to the students till 15.05.2021,except for the courses/programs that require physical presence of students on account of laboratory / research / thesis work and internship etc.

Colleges will move to online teaching mode.

All Schools in J&K shall continue to remain closed for imparting on-campus / in-person education to the students till 15.05.2021.

Today held meeting with all DCs and SSPs of #JammuDivision to review the developmental scenario, law & order situation and also assessed the #COVID containment and mitigation efforts across the districts.

Called for institutionalizing transparent, efficient, pro-people administrative set up across UT; make on-ground assessment of area-specific developmental needs & formulate realistic #DistrictDevelopmentPlans that touch the lives of ordinary citizens.
