There are some good points here. Cutting the defense budget has become politically toxic for many bipartisan reasons but I can't say that I have ever read anything about the F-35 that doesn't include it being awful in one way or another. Some examples: 1/x

NOW: White House Covid coordinator @JeffZients says 22 million vaccine doses have gone out this week. More than 6,000 active duty military will be assisting with vaccinations in coming weeks.
Additional 700 community health centers will have vaccines by end of April, @JeffZients adds.

Current 7-day average is 2.4 million shots per day.
