I’m finally watching Adventure Time: Distant Lands and I love seeing PB and Marceline as a full on couple

A really random bit of trivia is that I have a great uncle who, for reasons that aren’t worth going into, changed his last name when he was in his 20s or 30s and 1) I didn’t know that until I was an adult and 2) I *doubly* did not know that his chosen last name was DENTON
Was literally just hanging out at my grandmother’s house maybe a decade ago and happened upon my grandfather’s obit and there, in bold type, was a bit about how he’d been survived by his brother, a *Denton*
I’m still not over that shock

I love Bamboozled and whenever someone is trying to explain away lack of diversity in writers rooms I think about the quip Pierre (Damon Wayans) responds with: “Maybe they couldn’t put down their crack pipes long enough to apply.”
I see people saying this film was ahead of its time which weirds me out because like... do you think Black writers weren’t complaining about all white writers’ rooms twenty years ago? This movie was commenting on a very specific 1990s TV trend.
It’s also so weird to me to see people talk about this movie as “forgotten” when it’s long been one of my fave Lee films.
