FAIR warned President Biden at the start of his presidency that his 'America Last' immigration policies would create a crisis at the border. He didn't want to listen. As we approach Biden's 100th day in office, let's reflect on how we got here and who is responsible. (Thread)
The immigration policies of the Biden-Harris administration have only worsened a crisis that was created on the campaign trail. bit.ly/3x8fxmc
Many staffers have known Joe Biden for years, which means they have influence over the administration's policy. bit.ly/3ejxKV7
On his first day in office, President Biden ignored all the warning signs and signed reckless executive actions. bit.ly/3tRrY3y

Don’t let the new administration fool you. They know who is really responsible for the #BidenBorderCrisis. And so does FAIR. As we approach Biden’s 100th day in office, let’s take a look at how #BidenBroketheBorder (Thread):
(2/25/21) - The Biden administration appears unprepared for the consequences of their rhetoric or policy decisions. bit.ly/3aXgrJ9
(3/3/21) - Statistics tell the story of a growing border crisis, but the Biden administration sees nothing but a "challenge." bit.ly/3rknIZb
This is a scam. Temporary Protected Status (TPS) will never be revoked.
2) The purpose of TPS was not to try to punish a socialist autocrat. We have asylum laws for those people who need case by case temporary protection to work for positive change back home.
3) TPS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A TEMPORARY FORM OF WITHHOLDING OF REMOVAL IN ORDER FOR A COUNTRY DISRUPTED BY NATURAL DISASTER TO REGAIN ITS FOOTING IN DELIVERING SOCIAL SERVICES -- maybe a few months.
THREAD: Justice Thomas (w/ Alito and Gorsuch): Chief Roberts decision is "mystifying” considering DACA was unlawful. "The decision to countermand an unlawful agency action is clearly reasonable." Roberts wants to "avoid a politically controversial but legally correct decision."
More Thomas: The majority's "timidity forsakes the Court’s duty to apply the law according to neutral principles, and the ripple effects of the majority’s error will be felt throughout our system of self-government."
He adds that the holding "creates perverse incentives, particularly for outgoing administrations." The Trump administration is required "to continue administering unlawful programs that it inherited from a previous administration."
