PM Modi interacted with leaders of pharmaceutical industry via VC. He appreciated role of pharma sector in fight against COVID19. He stated that despite all challenges, Indian pharma industry has also registered a growth of 18% in exports last year, which shows its potential: PMO
PM appreciated them for reducing price of injections like Remdesivir. To keep supply of medicines & essential medical equipment going smoothly, PM Modi urged pharma industry to ensure seamless supply chains. PM also extended govt's support for facilities like logistics: PMO
PM urged pharma industry to conduct more& more researches on threats that can occur in the future along with Covid. Seeking cooperation from the pharma industry, PM Modi assured that government is undertaking reforms for new drugs and regulatory processes: PMO

Centre informed Delhi High Court that in order to ensure a continuous supply of oxygen for medical purposes the use of oxygen for industrial purposes has been banned except for certain critical industries with effect from 22nd April
Centre also informed that Government of lndia is taking all the possible steps and is further committed to take any steps and will provide feasible assistance to State Government as and when required.
On the aspect of test reporting, Delhi High Court suggests that it should be on a first come first serve basis. Sample taken first should be processed first and reported first
