PM urged pharma industry to conduct more& more researches on threats that can occur in the future along with Covid. Seeking cooperation from the pharma industry, PM Modi assured that government is undertaking reforms for new drugs and regulatory processes: PMO

Centre informed Delhi High Court that in order to ensure a continuous supply of oxygen for medical purposes the use of oxygen for industrial purposes has been banned except for certain critical industries with effect from 22nd April
Centre also informed that Government of lndia is taking all the possible steps and is further committed to take any steps and will provide feasible assistance to State Government as and when required.
On the aspect of test reporting, Delhi High Court suggests that it should be on a first come first serve basis. Sample taken first should be processed first and reported first

Govt of India announces liberalised & accelerated Phase 3 strategy of COVID-19 vaccination from May 1; everyone above the age of 18 to be eligible to get vaccine
Under Phase 3 of COVID vaccination strategy, vaccine manufacturers would supply 50% of their monthly Central Drugs Laboratory released doses to Govt of India & would be free to supply the remaining 50% doses to State Govts and in the open market: Govt of India
