To all those that don't follow football, here's a brief explainer of the issue at hand with the #europeansuperleague
There might be some options to unravel this but the main issue is fairness to existing (non breakaway) premier league clubs.
2/x
Each year all the premier league teams play each other twice - once at home and once away.
They play 38 games as part of this competition.
The clubs also compete in other competitions.
3/x
At the end of 38 games the few teams that finish at the top win a chance to compete in the following years european tournaments.
Although this is often the same clubs it can vary year on year. It gives some of the other teams a chance to play in the euro club tournaments.
4/x
With the premier league and other domestic competitions like the League Cup and FA cup - then with international call ups for some players - this can be lots of games for top players.
5/x
The clubs belong to the fans. The history of these clubs go back over 100 years.
Most weeks each game has a 'past' and memories from previous years.
Each week can be an event for some communities to enjoy and support their team.
14.5 Million attendances over a season.

So as you see the writer of this rather deceitful piece starts with
"THAT CHANGED IN SEPTEMBER 2015" 🙄
This was done to point the timeframe as Corbyn's leadership. Yet the article goes on to describe things that are not even related to Labour, which occurred in 2014.
@PerkyWarbeck@BeTheChange800@WatermelonBloke@RadheSh47372605@StephenBottrill He started out as a small time agitator, but the real investment came from the links to the 🇨🇦 (Ezra Levant) and 🇺🇸 (Daniel Pipes) neoconservative (pro Israel) right who saw him as a way to engage public opinion in their common cause
A TERRIBLE dishonest article that embeds a video by Luciana Berger where she describes "6 People Prosecuted" - fails to mention NONE WERE LABOUR MEMBERS!
