Hey Mike @mikeBithell I'm deeply concerned this is performative + not true solidarity - which we absolutely DO NOT NEED. Have heard from multiple people you were told about Alexis Kennedy, dismissed it, and have told people you do not think his behaviour is that bad. Still true?
It's perfectly fine to change your mind, learn and grow @mikeBithell but I think a few people are owed apologies and you need to do some self reflection + acknowledgement before giving the rest of the industry advice on how to deal with abusers. Maybe listen instead of speak.
Any dudes following who know @mikeBithell better than me want to step in + ask him for some accountability? I've met Mike very briefly+only know him through his work. Men if you want to have solidarity HAVE THESE CONVERSATIONS with YOUR BOYS so WE DON'T HAVE TO SHOULDER THIS.
