@EWErickson@EsotericCD If you are principled, what does “your own side” even mean? Why have a political side? Go with principles. No?
And if your side is the GOP, why undermine them in a way that helps the other side win politically which they then use to implement policy against your principles?
@EWErickson@EsotericCD Bush 43 says he voted for @CondoleezzaRice in 2020. You can bet that thousands of useful idiot Republicans/Cons did the same in key states, causing Biden/Dems to win narrowly.
Then idiots go and complain about Biden/Dems.
STOP WHINING! You did it so live with the consequences.
Those who oppose the officer’s action are refusing to show you this video and pretend that what we see here didn’t happen because they know that the officer with great marksmanship and speed-thinking saved someone’s life with not even a second to spare. Whoa!
The assailant with the knife had already pushed back the would-be victim a few feet pinning her against the car.
This was no “knife fight” as @ValerieJarrett lied yesterday.
The victim took no threatening stance in the seconds before the stabbing that the skilled-Cop stopped.
If not for propaganda, the officer would be paraded as a hero for having the speed and skill to stop a violent crime mid-stream with a quarter of a second time to decide and without bullets flying onto others.
LOOK AT THE VIDEO and tell me it ain’t so, you liars and chickens!
People are just not serious about policing issues. If you think a Cop should have stepped back when someone was mid-knife attack on a teen (and not done in a self defense way), then you are a joker. Total clown.
You think the appeal judges will have the guts to throw out the #ChauvinVerdict if they think it needs to be thrown out? Probably only some verdicts; not all 3.
The concept of the 3 charges is that if one fails then he is possibly guilty on another due to different reaons. Yet the Jurors (who likely recently watched TV and scrolled Social Media) went with guilty on all 3 to get over with it. 1 guilty verdict would make (more) sense.
You can be of the opinion that #ChauvinIsGuilty while also thinking that the Jurors decided based on public pressure which would make it Mob Rule; not justice. This would be true even if they found him guilty on one charge; sure so when it’s on all (contradictory) 3.
Inquisitors in Spain also liked rushed trials. No time to assert facts or else they turn narratives upside down.
@alexsalvinews@RMConservative@phscoop@Liz_Cheney “Thus incited by President Trump, members of the crowd... unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, injured and killed law enforcement personnel.”
This is in the impeachment document that 10 @HouseGOPs supported. Turns out the officer’s death was caused from blood clots.
@alexsalvinews@RMConservative@phscoop@Liz_Cheney@HouseGOPs Standing just blocks from riots, @RepMaxineWaters said that people should get more confrontational. Pelosi says this is “absolutely not” incitement. Meanwhile, Trump saying on 1/6 that people “need to fight like hell” (a standard civil line) is called incitement.
Many police officers in Western countries behaved with ruthlessness against civilians young and old in the name of coronavirus rules. These goons lost any sense of being humane because they were given a license to abuse with no one stopping then and often times being cheered on.
When you process this, you start to comprehend how guards and henchmen in regimes abuse civilians with extreme cruelty including murder: They were simply propagandized on a more extreme level and have been given greener lights to inflict more pain. It’s the same mentality.
Every generation in every corner of the world has ruthless thugs and stone cold goons who are all too eager to inflict physical pain on fellow human beings. How often they do it and how extreme it goes, is just dependent on what the surrounding society condones.
@julie_kelly2@MZHemingway As I explained, it’s not that Republicans are losers. It’s that losers are Republicans. Useful idiots, Stockholm Syndrome-victims and pushovers are Republicans. There is the Reagan, Newt, Tea Party am Trump wing but those are only 25-35 percent of the GOP.
@julie_kelly2@MZHemingway People ask “when will Republicans learn?” Or “will Republicans ever learn?” The answer is “no they won’t learn” because certain type personalities are pulled to the GOP while go-getting brawlers tend to be Democrats. Has been this way for decades (except for 25% - 35% of the GOP)
@julie_kelly2@MZHemingway This has nothing to do with “Conservatism” because Dems of a generation ago were more Conservative on many issues than your average pushover Republican is today. Hillary was against IDs for illegals as late as 2007 and most Senate Dems voted for 700 miles of border wall in 2007.
