We have recently conducted a questionnaire, to which we ask locals in Yemen three questions:

1• Why are you against aggression?
2• How did it affect you?
3• Why do you support the defensive armed struggle against aggression?

The following are their answers.

#Yemen Image
"I am against aggression because their aggression attacked a sovereign state, and their brutal and unjust aggression killed, displaced, destroyed, shed blood, besieged our people and plundered Yemen’s wealth."

- Mohammad,
Civil engineer, Sana'a Image
"It is logical for any person to refuse an attack against him and his homeland. Also, the history of the Saudi Kingdom is known for violating the sovereignty of Yemen for decades."

- Abdullah,
Data transmission manager, Yemen Mobile Image
"We, free Yemenis, our freedom, our dignity, and the sovereignty of our lands are above everything. And this criminal aggression, the Saudi-American terrorist, aims to rob us of our freedom, our dignity and the sovereignty of our lands..."

- Yonas,
Yemeni University student Image
"I am against aggression because the coalition countries attacked my country, Yemen, a sovereign state, without any preludes or reasons for war..."

- Mohammad,
Citizen of Sana'a (occupation unknown) Image
"I am against aggression because it is against my country in the first place. And because Western imperialism is the one standing behind it..."

- Anas,
Member of the Yemeni Socialist Party Image
"Of course I am against aggression, because my country was subjected to a Saudi-American military attack, while their siege suffocated an entire people, occupied the islands, and disrupted airports and sea ports."

- Abdullah,
Citizen of Sana'a (occupation unknown) Image
"I am against the Saudi aggression because it is purely arbitrary against my country, and thousands of women and children have been killed under fictitious names that have no connection with reality..."

- Jawaher,
Dentistry student, Saba'a University Image
"I am against the aggression that came under the pretext of restoring the Republic. I ask them a question here: How do you restore the Republic while you are suffering under bombardment by an oppressive, tyrannical monarchy?"

- Hashim,
Citizen of Sana'a (occupation unknown) Image
"I am a Yemeni and all Yemenis are against the Saudi-American aggression, because the aggression kills children and women and works to restore and impose American tutelage and hegemony on Yemen."

- Yahya,
Student at Iqra' University Image
"I am against aggression because it violated the sovereignty and inviolability of our country, killed the innocents in cold blood and destroyed our crops and offspring."

- Mohammad,
Citizen of Hodeidah (occupation unknown) Image
"If we did not stand against the barbaric aggression, Yemen would have been like any of the other countries in our region colonized by the imperialists..."

- Yasser,
Employee of the Ministry of Finance Image
"I am against the American enemy that has waged a war against Yemen for six years, because it wants to rob us of our dignity and plunder the goods of our land, and this we will not allow."

- Ahmad,
Citizen of Sana’a (occupation unknown) Image

Yesterday at 8pm Sana'a time, the spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces Yahya Sare'e revealed previously-undisclosed documents that details Israel's heavy involvement in Yemen's internal affairs.

In this thread, we are going to explain each revealed document:
Document 1: The National Security Agency of Yemen filed the visit of then-advisor to the Israeli FM Bruce Kashdan on July 14th 2007.

During his short stay, Bruce Kashdan met with several officials of the former Saleh-regime. ImageImage
The now disclosed document also further states that Kashdan's 2007 visit was the second visit after 2005. The document also details that the visit of Kashdan came on the invitation of the Saleh-regime in collaboration with the Emirati-regime. Image

To all our new followers: Greetings! We hope our current & future content will benefit your path to knowledge on the Yemeni people's struggle. First of, here's a quick introductory thread explaining who we are, what we do and whom we "support" - so to speak: Image
The Yemen Solidarity Council, previously known as the International Solidarity Committee with Yemen, is a non-profit advocacy & consultation organisation established between western activists & Yemeni diplomats, as a way to expand global knowledge on the cause.
We work as a third-party intermediary for organisations of interest or public personas if they want to get in touch with local Yemeni authorities, we produce multimedia content to explain the viewpoint of the Yemeni majority and a lot more.

By majority decision, the Yemen Solidarity Council has decided to award @TheGrayzoneNews with our Certificate of Appreciation.

The work of the Grayzone is fundamental to understand the dynamics of Empire's aspirations in West Asia & the Arab world in particular. Image
Choosing the Grayzone as a recipient was fairly easy. Their reporting on Yemen has been phenomenal, especially in telling the narrative that is so easily forgotten in the corporate press: That the Yemeni people are fighting a national liberation struggle against occupation.
The global public opinion & corporate coverage on Yemen has been tainted with bloody Saudi petrodollars.

"Rebels" and "terrorists" are just some of the labels used to describe those resisting aggression.

Grayzone exists to challenge those narratives.

According to Yemeni broadcaster Almasirah, roughly 4,9 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate is being stored in 130 shipping containers in the Yemeni port city of Aden by the Saudi-led Coalition.

The chemical compound has been stored for 3 years. Image
2,7 thousand tons of the same chemical compound caused the August 4th #Beirut explosion, which destroyed critical infrastructure worth billions of dollars and made 300 thousand people homeless.

The Saudis have created yet another looming disaster in Yemen.
Should this ticking bomb suddenly go off, we would witness indescribable destruction two times larger than that of the #Beirut explosion. Millions of people would become homeless in an instant.

#URGENT:

The Yemeni Communications Ministry has released a distress call to the international community & the UN, warning that Telecommunication services may be shut down due to the lack of oil derivatives as a result of the Saudi-American Blockade.

#YemenCantBreathe ImageImage
"- We warn of a total or partial imminent interruption of communication networks and the Internet in the Republic of Yemen due to the lack of oil derivatives.
- We hold the countries of aggression and all supporting parties responsible for isolating more than 27 million Yemeni citizens from the world as a result of the interruption of Internet and communications services.
