I think about maps like this when I read my friend John Nolte's taunts about blue cities getting the corruption and chaos they voted for, while life is good out in MAGA Land: breitbart.com/law-and-order/…

The Abolish the Police Party is dedicated to urbanizing flyover country.
The Abolish the Police Party (aka the Democrat Party) doesn't feel a moment of shame when reminded that its policies turn every city into a hellhole. They just redouble their efforts into making EVERY INCH of America a hellhole. They'll bring Chicago to YOU.
As I wrote at length yesterday, one of the animating principles of Abolish the Police is the desire to strip middle-class suburbs of their protection against blue-city pathologies. They Left loathes the notion of middle-class security.

Left-wingers have been seething for decades about "white flight," capital flight, the suburban and exurban movements, etc. They hate safe and prosperous middle-class communities, insulated from the pathologies the Left creates and exploits for power.
The more forward-thinking leftists are nervous about decentralization and remote working, trends that obviously accelerated due to the coronavirus. They need to cut off the escape routes from their urban political strongholds, so they're scheming to urbanize everything.
Abolish the Police will destroy the urban and exurban middle class sense of security, especially when combined with gun control. The goal is to strip everyone of their sense of protection, their feeling of distance from the Left's carefully cultivated social pathologies.
Meanwhile, more red and purple states are getting saddled with blue-city districts that can nullify the political strength of the suburbs. The goal is to make every placid MAGA Land county become as politically irrelevant as 90% of Illinois.
The thing is, you don't really have to build a big city to export Big City ideology, corruption, and crime to the burbs. The Blue City Hellhole phenomenon is a state of mind. It can be created without building a lot of skyscrapers. You just need aggressive political organization.
There aren't many quarters of MAGA Land that should feel safe and secure. The Abolish the Police Party is working hard to urbanize, nationalize, and collectivize every square mile of America. They want their problems to be everyone's problems.
And they don't need to win a lot of elections - at least not good old-fashioned fair elections - to make it happen. They can exercise force outside the law or politics to impose their ideology. They aren't planning to give you a chance to vote against abolishing the police. /end

It might seem odd that the dangerous lunatics who run the Democrat Party are so bitterly opposed to the police. They're authoritarians with a huge coercive agenda - shouldn't they love the agencies that will enforce their myriad laws?
You have to understand that Democrats will have plenty of ENFORCERS after they abolish the police. The State will keep growing, issuing more orders, and using both financial penalties and physical force to ensure those orders are obeyed. Resistance will be violently suppressed.
What Democrats loathe is the concept of a police force that has some inherent duty to protect THE PUBLIC. They want lethal government force reserved for defending THEM (just look at D.C.), protecting their interests, and enforcing their will.

Of course she won't be, which highlights a problem the media doesn't want to talk about: Democrats were encouraging mob violence and attacking the legitimacy of the United States with complete impunity long before any Trump voter grew angry about the 2020 election.
Challenging the legitimacy of the current Republican-run U.S. government, and the legitimacy of the American nation itself, has been a staple of Democrat rhetoric for generations. They usually end up openly fantasizing about assassinating the Republican in the White House.
Violent street theater has likewise been a staple Democrat tactic for ages. These signals were not only received by their intended recipients on the hard Left. Where did the Jan 6 demonstrators get the idea to challenge the legitimacy of an election? From Democrats, of course.

Hard to imagine a better example of anarcho-tyranny than Democrats simultaneously demanding more gun laws and trying to prevent the police from enforcing the existing laws, or abolish the police entirely.
Although another pretty good example is the Left simultaneously attacking voter ID and pushing for "vaccine passports." Or building walls around the seat of power in D.C. while erasing the national border.
Everywhere you look, you see the Ruling Class nakedly concerned with protecting its interests and enforcing its agenda, not fulfilling any duties or responsibilities to the people. On the contrary, the Ruling Class deliberately stokes anarchy to terrorize the public.

The U.N. Secretary General wants a "wealth tax" for companies that profited during the pandemic. How about if we tax the wealth of POLITICIANS who profited from the pandemic? They're planning to line their pockets with more trillions as we speak.

The biggest pandemic profiteers are state-owned or state-controlled Chinese businesses, by the way. Good luck confiscating THEIR wealth to fund some globalist effort to alleviate income inequality.
But we should all be sick and tired of this game where private earnings are forever at risk of confiscation by politicians in the name of "fairness," while the immense wealth of the political elite is 100% secure. You can never touch THEIR personal or imperial fortunes.

Western politics in the new millennium is defined by our near-total inability to measure risks against rewards, costs against benefits, promises against unintended consequences. We only have two settings now: PANIC and HYSTERIA.
It comes down to a loss of maturity. The ability to make reasoned decisions by comparing costs against benefits is a defining characteristic of adulthood. Reckless desire and blind panic are characteristics of childhood. Only immature societies live in a constant state of panic.
Immaturity is part of the devolution from independence to collectivism. A society that values independence treats citizens as adults and holds them responsible for the consequences of their decisions. Collectivist societies teach citizens to see themselves as children.

The quest to create New Soviet Man - to re-engineer the human race into something more compatible with collectivism - has never ended, or even paused.

Success may finally be close at hand, as the last vestiges of individualism and objective truth are under attack.
Western culture and politics have degenerated into endless warfare against every barrier that protects individuals from being subsumed into the hive of the centralized State. The key battleground is family: our tendency to bond in a way that makes us independent from the State.
Every piece of heavy artillery in the Left's inventory - culture, academia, politics - is right now trained on what remains of the family unit. The shelling is heavy and incessant. Every single aspect of the formula "boy meets girl and raises family" is under assault.
