BUHARI — THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO NIGERIA?

Yes! He might as well be.

It took the second coming of Muhammadu Buhari to reveal the true state of Nigeria - a country too divided, too polarised & too different that it will never become a nation

A THREAD
Hitherto, the Fulani elites had hidden under a veneer of unity & cooperation, constantly deploying soft power, veiled threats & violent outbursts against other Nigerians in order to maintain their perch on power and skewed advantage over the resources of Nigeria.
It took a Buhari to bring to clarity the fact that the Fulani elites believe that they own Nigeria and the rest of us ought to be servants or slaves.

This clarity of the true nature of Nigeria will force Nigeria to confront herself.
To morph into a true nation defined with Justice and Equity or lead us to form our separate nations. I choose the later.
When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and a few others set off the alarm bells of Islamisation and Fulanization agenda, many regarded him as a mad man, an alarmist and a rabble-rouser. Today, many are beginning to see him as a prophet who foretold the times we currently live in.
Here are a few of the words, actions and events of Muhammadu Buhari led presidency that has made it clear that the Fulani elites have gone for the jogular of Nigerians, a total control & subjugation of the indigenous peoples of Nigeria.
1. Buhari propounded the policy of 97% versus 5%.
2. Proposed Cattle Colony & Ruga policies
3. Promoted Livestock policy, Waterways bill
4. Northernization of almost all the heads of Security Agencies in Nigeria
5. Northernization of almost all the heads of high budget and high revenue yielding MDA's in Nigeria
6. Northernization of almost all the Judiciary positions in Nigeria
7. Skewed employment of Northerners in juicy, influential and critical MDA's in Nigeria.
8. Clandestine and tacit support of #FulaniHerdsmen and the persecution and proscription of #IPOB & peaceful #Biafra campaigners as terrorist organizations.
9. Support and refusal to remove Jihadist Sheikh Isa Pantami as a federal minister.
Since the days of regional autonomy in 1952, Northern Nigeria led by the scions of the Fulani Jihadist & conqueror of the Hausa Kingdoms - Uthman Dan Fodio had been obsessed with the project of dipping the Koran into the Atlantic Ocean.
They had fancied themselves as the overlords of a vast Nigerian Caliphate comprising Northern Nigeria, Igbo nation, Yoruba nation & other Southern Minority ethnic nationalities.

They've managed to ingrain in most gullible Nigerians the belief of the mantra of "Born To Rule".
They've managed to sustain their sinister project with diverse political & psychological manipulations, employing violence, threat of violence, propaganda and divide to rule strategy.
First, when they noticed that the Igbo was the biggest stumbling block to their ultimate goal and quest, they started their anti-Igbo campaigns in Northern Nigeria.
They managed to convince the indigenous Northern Nigeria minorities that the North was indeed one and that their COMMON ENEMY was IGBO people who have traveled all the way from the rain forests of Eastern Nigeria to the North to colonise them.
The Northern Nigerian minorities embraced the anti Igbo agenda wholesale. During the #Biafra war. The bulk of Nigerian soldiers were actually drawn from Northern Nigerian minorities and South West. The Fulani contribution was minimal.
This is what Ahmadu Bello said:
"The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great-grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities of the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory...
...and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future."
- Ahmadu Bello
True to the words of Ahmadu Bello, the Northern Nigerian minorities were used to fight for the agenda of Fulani elites. Today, the Fulani has turned their radar on these minorities of Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Gombe, Adamawa, Taraba, Nasarawa, Niger, Kogi and Benue State.
The Hausa's of the North East are not even spared going by the campaign of #FulaniBandits. As a matter of fact, no part of Nigeria, down to the South West, South East and South South Nigeria is spared.
Everyone is complaining about the murderous campaigns of #FulaniBandits, #FulaniHerdsmen & #FulaniTerrorists.
*North West*
Buhari has opened the eyes of Nigerians. The perception of the ruling Fulani elites is that Nigeria is the estate of their forebears. Their agenda is no more hidden. It is in the open.
The USEFUL SLAVES of the Northern Minorities, Oduduwa Nation and #Biafra nation have been silenced especially by the Pantami scandal and the justification of a Jihadist who supported Al Queda and Islamic Terrorism, instigated riots, and sponsored the murder of Christians.
There are two options. The indigenous Nigerians should either push back or submit themselves to the authority and enslavement of the Fulani elites.

Today as we celebrate #BiafraHeroesDay2020, we give honour to whom honour is due.

We say thank you & God bless you to all individuals and groups who contributed in one way or another in making 30th May of every year the date for #BiafraRemembranceDay.
@MaziNnamdiKanu & #IPOB popularised & energized #BiafraHeroesDay.

The organisation that first proposed #BiafraHeroesDay from the earliest available references I could find is a group known as the BIAFRA FOUNDATION based in the USA in the year 2002.
It must be admitted that Chief Ralph Uwazurike had already started the Movement For The Actualisation Of Biafra (MASSOB) in 1999 in Ijesha, Lagos.

The first available record of #BiafraHeroesDay event held in Nigeria was organised by Chief Ralph Uwazurike led MASSOB in 2004.

BACKSTABBING GAMBARI

I know him quite well.
I was the one who in 1981 brought him to the UN at his request as a member of the Nigerian delegation.

He was then a senior lecturer at the ABU.
In fact, the late Prof Audu, who was then Foreign Minister actually advised me against inviting him to the UN. But he had strong academic credentials which impressed me.
He had obtained his first degree in political science from the LSE, and a doctorate from Colombia University in New York.

We were looking for strong delegates to the UN General Assembly and I considered him the kind of delegates we were looking for.

DISAPPOINTED!

I just noticed that I've been blocked by @AbdulMahmud01.

This makes me totally disappointed & sorry.

Sorry for an accomplished legal mind & poet, the one that styles himself as the Great Oracle.
Back in 2015 when I came on Twitter Mr Abdul Mahmoud was one of the compasses I used to navigate my way in these streets.

Then, he was still using his old handle which was probably suspended because, well this is twitter.

When he created @AbdulMahmud01, it was a joyous welcome.
Apart from pushing back on lies & negative narratives about @GEJonathan, I'm also here to learn as I consider myself an eternal learner.

IGBO LEADERSHIP

At this point, I need to address the issue of the often seriously misunderstood topic of Igbo Leadership.

This is triggered by the disrespectful & condescending tweet by @AbdulMahmud01 that the Igbo have traders but not leaders.

#IgboLeadership

A THREAD
I'll forgive @AbdulMahmud01 with whom I often interact on Twitter & who I have tremendous respect for his advocacy for human & civil rights in Nigeria.

#IgboLeadership
I will also like to state that he's not alone in this misunderstanding. So many Igbo sons & daughters are equally guilty of this unfortunate & ill informed understanding of Igbo world view about Political Leadership.

IGBO & IGBO DENIERS

Igbo Bụ Igbo (Igbo is Igbo) But We Have Igbo Deniers

The grandfather & one of the earliest known #IgboDeniers is the acclaimed Ikwerre Writer from Aluu – Elechi Amadi (He schooled in Yoruba land & was a Nigerian soldier during the war).
He went to the Oputa Panel in 2004 & told the whole world that Ikwerre is not Igbo.

Later day Igbo Denying apostles include a certain Henry Okelue (@4eyedmonk) who is only known on Twitter where he claims that Anioma or Delta Igbo are not Igbo.

#IgboDeniers
#Ozoemena
The question is this. If Igbo bụ Igbo, what is the motivation of these #IgboDeniers? The simple chief answer is this. “Failure is an orphan”.

#BiafraRemembranceDay
#BiafraHeroesDay2019
