I am spending my birthday in solitude again this year, I do this every year
I am not one for much noise during birthdays and I am not one for reflection too
I just like to spend the day alone
No friends, no relatives, nothing but the presence of the Holy Spirit and the joy of

His glory that is conspicuously at work in me
Some years ago, I would lock myself in my office during my birthdays and ensure that my colleagues don't get a whiff of its arrival
Many people assume birthdays must be celebrated one way
I disagree
I don't have anything against

parties and all the shenanigans
It is not just me
I spend my birthday practicing the presence of God
I don't pray like other people do or sing worship songs
I am just still and spiritually buoyant in my heart
Last year, I spent this day contemplating the impact of the teachings

of a certain man of God in my life
I am doing the same this year
I got a voice note from Rev. Mrs.Tella, she pronounced God's blessings upon me from the depth of her heart
She had assumed my birthday was 21st April instead of 24th April and when I got her message, I was overjoyed

Mummy Tella is a woman of God, she and Her husband, Rev. Dr. Tella served as the undershepherds of the University of Ibadan Baptist church several years ago
I remember telling the two of them that I was going to be a tremendous success in life in 2008 when I found myself in the

middle of a storm
He looked at me that day and said "I like the fire in your eyes, I have no doubt you will come out of this shining as gold!"
He was right
He came to give his daughter away in marriage at the RCCG Camp in 2020 and I had the opportunity to prostrate and say "God

has done it, sir"
If only i could capture the expression of boundless joy on his face.
He was not only happy that he saw me, but he was also happy that the word he spoke out of conviction 12 years ago had become a living entity
I knelt down and he blessed me even more
Men of God

are nurturers and raisers
They deserve to be honoured at every turn
Today, as I sat in my hotel room, enjoying my birthday eve, I thank God for all the blessings he has showered upon the GSWMI family in the last three years
The Lord is indeed with us
I want to thank all those who

partake of the reality of God in our lives as we broke records and boundaries on every side
I want to thank the Holy Spirit for being the full expression of God in our lives
When I clocked 40, i didn't expect the deluge of blessings that flowed in like a tidal wave
Miracles that

none can claim image right to
Expansion on every side and joy unspeakable full of glory
We were once a scattered few but now we are a nation of His excellence
The handiwork of his grace
I want to thank my wife and children for their relentless love and support
I have been warned

tacitly not to provoke people to jealousy again by mentioning names when talking about the glories that God has surrounded me with
All I see is their lights shinning brighter and brighter

We have brought many into the light of Christ and kingdom realities by the power of the Holy Spirit! Our profit is

evident to all as we serve and build up his church daily
