GoYuu/GetYuu/????: You Could Do Better

Warning/Tags: No Curse Au, Fluff with slight angst? Very little, Mention of SatoSugu, and a surprise at the end!

This Idea/Prompt was created by Lovely @kawaiiyuuji and I simply had to write for it.

When Suguru and Satoru broke up, Suguru had left Tokyo to get away from the memories and ugly feelings.

Their break up was rather messy, if he had stayed in Tokyo he would no doubt run into his ex more than he’d like.

However, he wishes he had stayed.

Stayed in Tokyo instead of traveling for a few years before coming back

Then he could have been the one to meet Yuuji To hold the boy’s hand, to kiss his sweet pink lips

But he had ran and when he came back and visited Shoko, the pair had run into Satoru and his new love, Yuuji

Suguru’s dark eyes met the brightest gold looking back at him.

The boy stole his breath away.

Yuuji didn’t seem to notice the tension between Satoru and Suguru or at the very least did not address it.

“Hi! I’m Yuuji Itadori, it’s nice to meet you.” The sweet boy introduced himself happily, offering his hand

Suguru took it and smiled.

“Suguru Geto. The pleasure is mine.”

Suguru was absolutely smitten with the boy after that.

He was even willing to put up with his stupid ex just to have some time with Yuuji.

Yuuji was bright, innocent, and selfless. The boy was loud but not obnoxiously so, he knew when to be quiet and when to get serious unlike some people.

“Seriously, how did he manage to get someone like Yuuji? He’s a bastard and Yuuji is an angel”

Suguru sat with Shoko at a picnic table, both of them taking some time away from the group of friends (In Suguru’s case,New friends as he had only just met them) to take a smoke break

“As they say opposites attract. Plus Megumi was with Yuuji at his house when Satoru decided to bother the boy. After that, Satoru could barely go a day without seeing or talking to Yuuji.”

Shoko blew out some smoke as she watched in amusement her friend watch the couple-

- with jealousy.

“Careful now. Don’t be too obvious.” The woman laughed to herself as her friend huffed and looked away in annoyance

“He’s just so cute and hell, he gets along with everyone here. Wasn’t Megumi supposed to be anti-social and hated loud people?” Suguru questioned

Neither noticed sky blue eyes watching them, grip tightening around a certain pink-haired boy.

“Yuuji and Nobara are the exceptions according to him.” Shoko replied, a lazy smile on her lips as she twirled a strand of her hair.

They failed to notice the man approaching their spot.

“Suguru.”

Looking up, both saw Satoru standing at their table with a frown on his face.

For a second, Shoko wondered if Satoru had realized Suguru’s affections.

“Can I help you? We were in the middle of talking.” Suguru replied, annoyed at the source of his problems barging in his conversation.

Satoru sighed dramatically, looking at Suguru with pity that was really starting to anger the dark haired man.

“I wanted to talk to you. I get that being around me may be bringing back old feelings but I’m with Yuuji now so I’d like it if you could respect that. I love only Yuuji.”

Shoko covered her mouth as she looked at Suguru who stared at the man in shock-

-before clear frustration took over as he stood up.

“Are you that stupid and self centered? Why would I want you back?!” Suguru glared at his ex, trying to keep his voice down enough to not cause a full scene.

Satoru shook his head, again with that stupid pity look.

“I see the way you stare at me, I’m not dum-”

“You are the dumbest person here if you think I was looking at you, I’m looking at Yuuji wondering how the hell someone as cute and perfect as him ended up with a bastard like you.”

Shoko choked as she put her cigarette out, glancing over to make sure the boy in question wasn’t hearing this before watching the glare off between her two friends.

“....What?” Satoru stared in shock, caught off guard by the sudden confession.

“You heard me. I could treat Yuuji better than you ever could and I’m going to show him that.”

Suguru crossed his arms, walking past Satoru to get away from the cause of his stress when he was suddenly tackled to the ground.

“You couldn’t even please Yuuji if you tried! He needs more than your limp dick” Satoru shot back, fire in his eyes at the challenge

Suguru glared.

He’s not sure who threw the first punch, hell he’s not sure how long Satoru and him had been fighting when the two were-

- pulled away from each other.

Nobara and Megumi held Satoru back while Yuuta and Panda held Suguru back.

Yuuji stood in the middle with his arms out, looking between them in disapproval.

“Seriously? We’re at a park trying to have a nice get together and you two decide to start fighting?” Yuuji scolded

“He started it!” Satoru pouted, upset at getting in trouble when he was just protecting what’s his.

“Satoru…” Yuuji’s voice carried a warning, the boy sighed after a few minutes.

“Yuuji, don’t be too hard on them. They’re just idiots who don’t know how to deal with their emotions.” Shoko walked up to Yuuji, putting an arm around him.

She ignored the two glares sent her way.

“Let them fight it out. We can all just go enjoy our time somewhere else.” Shoko led the confused Yuuji away, looking back at the two men who had been let go.

Shoko smirked, turning away as she led the group off leaving the two idiots to realize the true threat to their love for Yuuji wasn’t each other

The real threat was one Shoko Ieiri.
