Why have some already chosen Tuesday as 1st Ramadan?

Option 1: Assume birth of the moon (on Monday night) is sufficient, even if is not visible in your locality / anywhere in the world

Option 2: Rely on sightability of the moon on Monday night in e.g. Hawaii/S America
See the colours in the moonsighting graphs -> the more to the left you go, the more likely the moon is to be seen in those areas on Monday night; note the latitudinal difference too

ICYMI: Quilliam Foundation - co-founded by Maajid Nawaz - prepared a secret list for a top British security official accusing peaceful Muslim groups, politicians, a television channel and a Scotland Yard unit of sharing the ideology of terrorists.

Banning the hijab (& other ostentatious religious signs) in domestic sport in France is *another* example of Islamophobia being driven by state institutions under the guise of laïcité (& CT)

It is difficult to conclude anything other than the French state is targeting Muslims
ICYMI French Senate prohibited parents from wearing visible religious signs when accompanying kids on school trips

Muslim women wearing a headscarf, who volunteer to help, are being targeted

One wonders why bother....
For those who want to see more about Shawcross and what he thinks, see this thread & it may make sense why there are few worse or more frightening people to have this role

I have had messages saying things like:

"This can't be true, they don't hate us that much do they?"

"This is truly frightening"

"This must be a kite flying exercise"

"They can't be doing this intentionally"

I guess the government genuinely doesn't care.
