The City of Toronto and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 22 clinics today, including mobile teams and on-site clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province’s priority framework.
These clinics are only vaccinating those in the priority groups who have confirmed appointments.
Today, we'll vaccinate up to approximately 8,050 people born in 1961 or earlier and people age 50 or older who live in hot spot neighbourhoods as identified by postal code. People without appointments should not attend a City-run immunization clinic.
There're 2 pop-clinics in #TorCen for those 18+ living in hot spot neighbourhoods, priority hospital & community-based healthcare workers, living in congregate settings, Indigenous communities, shelter staff, transplant recipients & those w specific high-risk health conditions.
Today, Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT will together vaccinate 856 people belonging to the same groups.

University Health Network will deploy one mobile team.
Will vaccinate 110 homebound patients.

Michael Garron Hospital - East Toronto Health Partners will hold one on-site clinic.
Will vaccinate 1,267 eligible residents.

Humber River Hospital and North Western Toronto Ontario Health Team will hold one on-site clinic and a mobile clinic. They will vaccinate 1,200 people belonging to the same groups.

North York General Hospital - North York Toronto Health Partners will hold one mobile clinic. They will vaccinate 1,000 people age 18 years and older in hot spot neighbourhoods.

Scarborough Health Network will hold two pop-up clinics. They'll vaccinate 3,000 people age 18 years and older in hot spot neighbourhoods.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre will hold one on-site clinic and an off-site clinic in partnership with Baycrest.
They'll vaccinate approximately 1,300 people belonging to the same groups.

Finally, Toronto Public Health can confirm that as of yesterday morning, 204,004 people aged 40 and older received the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at participating pharmacies in Toronto since the provincial pilot began. More info to come.

Last night, businesses in the Church-Wellesley Village had their windows smashed in an act of vandalism that has left the community shaken. kristynwongtam.ca/villagevandali…
This follows on the heels of the community being targeted by preachers who have twice disrupted the Village and a series of letters, emails, and graffiti markings that appear to be motivated by, or linked to, Neo-Nazi ideology targeting community members and businesses.
I have been in ongoing contact with senior staff at the Toronto Police Service regarding these incidents and know that they are working diligently to find those responsible for these acts of vandalism and hate.
