Ndii has in the past accused Raila of laundering Uhuru corruption. In principle, he is doing the same.

He is using his national and international professional esteem to launder sleaze by shoring up a career battered by integrity crisis. Part 2
In a past thread I said person BEHOLDEN to corruption cannot fight it. All Kenyan Presidents so far had better predisposition to fight corruption but failed.

Ruto is the least primed to fight corruption. Bcos He is too entangled in corruption lineage.

The people salivating for a Ruto Presidency in the Rift Valley are not motivated by love for Kenya.

IT IS HANG OVERS OF ENTITLEMENT TO GOVERNMENT RESOURCES AND OFFICES.

It is nostalgia for the good old days of Moi where a community was entitled to impunity
This is why the working relationship between the DP and the economists is a non-starter. The two groups have different agenda in the arrangement. Their interests overlap only temporarily to win the votes. I predict another Sonko/ Igathe fallout- if hustler was to win election
Ruto will have to overcome so many odds. His ICC is only in abeyance. In 2013, some people wanted him disqualified on account of chapter 6. And this will most likely surface again.
A LEADER UNDER SIEGE RETREATS BACK TO MOST TRUSTED AIDES
So Ruto cannot leave trusted aides and seek new alliance with professionals who have no baggage. His most trusted allies will remain the same tanga tanga operatives - the warlords, the tenderpreneurs whose support is ON CONDITION THEY PLAY THEIR GAME of WIZI
The differences in Jubilee are merely IN FORM BUT NOT ESSENCE. They are partners in crime, who have only separated by the details of how to share the proceeds of crime. That is why the biggest LIE in Kenya today is this attempt market hustler narrative a new-found ideology
This where the Sonko Igathe scenario falls. WSR can only preside over bandit economy; the only difference being REPLACEMENT OF CURRENT JUBILEE MAFIA BY RIFT VALLEY MAFIA AND WING B OF KIKUYU MAFIA who have fallen out with Uhuru
The so called Kibaki economists will be forced “to bear with THE political expediency” – Must understand why some decisions cannot be made.

Why some tenders cannot be advertised, why some projects must be initiated even if they are of no national value.
Remember the scenario of Kibaki and John Githongo. The latter was recruited to help Kibaki eradicate corruption “ONCE AND FOR ALL”. He was given unfettered access to Kibaki… but corruption cartels wriggled back. Kibaki chose to dispense with Githongo than lose close friends
The other reason alliance cant work. Ndii has demonstrated contempt for the DP in past public comments.
The DP and his close allies knows all this and perhaps have a file for all what Ndii has said about them
We all know Kenyan politicians. They DON’T FORGET AND THEY DON’T FORGIVE. All the DP’s aides will keep a close watch on Ndii and the economists on their past contempt for them. This suspicion and relationship of mistrust will be very frustrating to the professionals.
They will just play along like all the “brilliant professionals and lawyers” in all evil regimes. They will just be writing speeches for the president to say things his government does not mean or practice. They will just be trouble shooters and propagandists of the regime
But it wont be for nothing for the economists. They will have benefited the “facilitation.” The DP and his team will have benefited the best brains around to craft a high sounding manifesto that no one will look at after the elections.
The public will have been conned that there is a new Kibaki on the horizon. They will vote hustler government that is just an extension of Jubilee. Kenyans are the losers – our quest for change will be betrayed – AGAIN. Wajinga nyinyi
The Kibaki Image being robbed. NEXT

Kibaki is a model citizen. A great patriot and one of the most distinguished politicians Kenya has produced.
The Hustler movement wants to wear a hollow mask of his qualities. POLITICAL MIMICRY. Part 3
I defend Ndiis right to his political choices. Same way I defend Raila Odingas. These are great Kenyans in their own right.
Kenyans have admired and demonized both at different turns when it is convenient. Are Kenyans worth sacrificing for anyway?
Ndii and Raila hold no public office. We must let them be. We have no contract with any of them to please us in their choice of political camps.

Mine is therefore not criticism of Ndii for his political ideas and choices. He is entitled to them

The news of Alliance between DP Ruto and David Ndii and other “Kibaki Economists” was big news last Sunday. This is none of my business.
But again both Ndii and DP are national figures and politics is our business.
I wanna say something
With all due respect to the supporters of WSR, He has not been a model citizen of Kenya. We all yearn for patriotic leadership.
We are currently crying and suffering because our country has been auctioned to the foreigners - esp China treat us like their colony
Patriotism is where a country comes first. Patriotic leaders rally their people to sacrifice for the country so that we can bequeath a better nation to our children.
And redeem our shattered image in Africa where we are always regarded as incapable of self rule.

Something happened during Kibaki’s tenure that would later transform Kenya’s business environment and become a critical economic platform.
That small innovation was called MPESA.
It may turn out to be Kibaki’s greatest but UNINTENDED legacy
Someone once said INVENTION IS THE MOTHER OF NECESSITY- corrupting the popular proverb which says the opposite.
MPESA was not a necessity before it came to our lives, it is a necessity only after it was invented, tried, and used by consumers.
I recall the speech to honour the founder of McDonalds fast foods.
It was stated he touched American life so much that “any student in America just wants to confirm wherever he goes for education THERE IS A GOOD HOSTEL AND A MCDONALD NEARBY.”

Was Kibaki the best President so far? I doubt it.

As I said in a previous thread, MISSING KIBAKI IS SHAMEFUL INDICTMENT OF UHURU GOVERNMENT RATHER THAN A SIGN OF KIBAKI’S GREATNESS

tuko.co.ke/390095-kenyans…
To me, the best President remains Jomo Kenyatta.

He made many mistakes:
Betrayed Mau Mau cause
Set a precedent of tribalism by creating Kikuyu hegemony
Set a precedent of corruption through land grabbing.
But I still vote him the best among the 4
Jomo Kenyatta's leadership was much more professional and forward-looking. Kenya laid very strong foundations and institutions under Kenyatta.

The education system, health, agriculture, civil service, strong and strategic parastatal companies

If there is one thing to learn from the interviews for CJ, it is HOW TO CONDUCT PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES.
Herding 8 candidates one evening and asking them questions for 10 minutes is not a presidential debate. That is just a waste of time

nation.africa/kenya/news/pro…
If the media is serious about interrogating presidential candidates, they should pull resources and carry out similar “interviews.” Each candidate should have a full day to themselves.
They answer questions about their visions, their past, their abilities, etc. Full day
And the time to do it is not 2 weeks before the elections. And YES, I know it's not “that easy”. But that is the way it should be done.
I am talking to you, media people.

For Kenyans to miss Kibaki whose government was so average, Uhuru must have failed them big time. Part 4
Moi had so many apologists- in government, academia, legal fraternity, private sector, in politics. Most of them had resigned to the fact of a new Kenya and sought to adjust to the new dispensation.
But Kibaki’s leadership crisis gave them a moral victory
The constant wrangling in Kibaki government and a subdued President who could not command authority made people miss Mois authoritarian leadership.

"Afadhali Moi" was now an openly expressed sentiment. From Moi must go to Moi must come
