Within the last 5 days Art of Living volunteers managed to arrange for 300+ beds, 295+ plasma donors, 413+ oxygen cylinders, 5000+ free doctor consultations, and 5000+ free meditation sessions!

The 4 main freshwater lakes that supply water to Chennai have run dry.

A special train plies between Jollarpetai and Chennai everyday.

Cost? According to the government, 65 crores/day.

Why? It carries water to parched Chennai.
What has the Art of Living River Rejuvenation team done in Jollarpetai to rejuvenate this huge underground resource?

Using satellite mapping, they put down recharge wells and boulder checks.

The rainwater went down and recharged the underground water table.
Boulder Checks slowed down the speed of the water, helping it seep to the soil below.

This made the streams flow for a few months even after the rains.
