Wisdom from Sadhguru: “People care for their own little pleasure more than for everyone’s wellbeing. That is what we have to change in the world. What does an unlimited amount of wealth mean to a man who has a limited amount of time. 1/34 #Justice4Australia
The fight against corruption has to start within you, as integrity is an inner quality. Integrity is not a bunch of values or ethics. Integrity is the coherence between how you are, how you think, and how you act. 2/34
There is no substitute for a conscious, responsible behavior. If you learn to use the tools of body, mind, emotions, and energy by choice, you will naturally become a very impactful human being. 3/34
For me, life is not about what you do. It is all about how you do it. If you learn to laugh at your own stupidity, all your rubbish will turn into manure very fast. And manure is good for growth. Ultimately, life is neither suffering nor bliss. It is what you make it. 4/34
If you look at your thoughts in the context of the whole cosmos, they do not mean anything. If you realize that, you will naturally create a distance from your thought process. The mind is an endless game. You should not play it all the time. 5/34
If you break the shell of your personality, you will simply be presence – as life is, just a Presence. Once you free yourself from the meanness of the mind, an indiscriminate sense of love and inclusion arises. 6/34
The joy of being one with everything will never be known to a person who is clinging to something or the other. If you are a sensible human being, you will naturally be loving and inclusive. Happiness starts with you – not with your relationships, job, or money. 7/34
Stress is not a consequence of a particular situation – it is a consequence of your inability to manage your own system. Whether it is happiness or unhappiness, pain or pleasure, agony or ecstasy, essentially it happens from within. 8/34
Especially if unpleasant things have happened in your life, you should become wise, not wounded. A truly intelligent mind is neither influenced by memory nor deluded by imagination. 9/34
Fear and anxiety are consequence of your imagination running wild. You are suffering a situation that may never happen. The more security you seek, the more disturbed you will be about every change that happens in your life. 10/34
The fundamental nature of jealousy and envy is a feeling of inadequacy. If you were really blissful, you would not be envious of anyone. A seed that does not sprout is as good as a pebble. For the seed that you are to flourish, you have to open up. 11/34
If someone thinks you are smart, it is ok. It is their opinion. If you think you are smart, you are stupid. Confidence is no substitute for clarity. To be successful, you need clarity, not confidence. Doubt is good – it means you are searching for truth. Suspicion sickness.12/34
If you want deep insights into life, other people’s opinion of you should not mean anything to you. Having expectations of others means you are trying to fix their lives. Fix your own life – that is freedom. Staying young means be willing to learn, evolve, and open to life.13/34
People are dedicated to their lifestyle, not to their life. Once you are dedicated to your lifestyle, you get enslaved to how much you earn. Time is not money. Time is Life. Life is not in our activity, not in our possessions, and not in what we touch, taste, see, or smell. 14/34
Life is not a drama that is happening around you. Life is that fundamental dimension that is You. You are Life – the rest are just ingredients. Discipline does not mean control. It means having the sense to do exactly what is needed. 15/34
The more you try to be special, the more you get hurt. Just be, melt and become part of the wind and the earth; become part of everything, as creation intends. For someone who listens to the wholeness of existence, everything is music. 16/34
If you look at life just the way it is, you shall be overwhelmed by its sheer magnitude. The very core of the cosmos is stillness and peacefulness. If you are touched by it, everything about you will be transformed. It is all right if the world thinks you are weird. 17/34
Everyone is different, so everyone is weird in someone’s eyes. Happily weird or miserably weird – your choice. If you are looking at life as a possibility, you will see possibilities everywhere. If you are looking at life as a problem, you will see problems everywhere. 18/34
As far as the laws of existence are concerned, there is no good and bad, no crime and punishment. It is just that for every action, there is a consequence. Whatever you do, just check – is it all about you, or is it for the wellbeing of All. 19/34
How profound is your experience of life, and how impactful are you in what you do? This is all that really matters in life. Mother Earth is so generous. If only we give her the chance, she will restore everything in absolute abundance and beauty. 20/34
If you spend time in the forest, you will realize that you are just one more life. It is a huge step to feel for life around you the way you feel about yourself. If you bring perfect order into everything, it will make life very easy, but the spark in life will be gone. 21/34
Dreams are like footprints. By analyzing the footprint, you may know a few things, but it does not reveal the nature of life. May your dreams not come true, because they are based on what you know. You should explore possibilities never been touched or reached before. 22/34
If you drop this calculation, ‘What can I get?’ in your life, you will become boundless and absolutely compassionate. We must stop influencing our children and start supporting them by creating a loving, joyful, and intelligent atmosphere. 23/34
When there is so much wealth in the world, poverty is a crime against humanity. Society should not shape individual human consciousness. Human consciousness should shape society. It is limited identities of race, religion, and nationality which breed conflict and violence. 24/34
We have to become sensitive to life – not to our thoughts, emotions, egos, ideologies, or belief systems. Because life is the highest value. Wherever you are, whatever you are exposed to, pick up the best from every situation. Let not life’s experience go waste. 25/34
The most important thing today is to make human beings rise to a sense of inclusiveness beyond gender, race, religion, and nationhood. If human beings become conscious, the need for domination and conflict will dissolve. 26/34
As human beings become more empowered, there is a fundamental need for us to become more conscious and responsible, rather than reactive and compulsive. If you are looking for solace, belief systems are fine. But if you are looking for a solution, you have to seek. 27/34
Meditation means to know and experience life beyond the physical sphere; not on the surface but at the source. When you experience everything as a part of yourself, you are in Yoga. That is liberation, that is mukti, that is ultimate freedom. 28/34
If every day of your life, no matter what the nature of your work or the situation, you can remain playful and exuberant, it is a sign of Freedom within. If there is love in your heart, it will guide you through your life. Love has its own intelligence. 29/34
Your life is a limited amount of time. Only miserable people think it is long. If you are joyful, even if you live a hundred years, it is too little. To forgive does not mean to forget. To forgive means not to carry any bitterness in you, because that destroys your life. 30/34
The best gift you can give anyone is to offer them the tools to engineer themselves into joyful human beings. It is the ability to bring out the best in others that makes you a leader. Do not worry about your future. Do your present well, and the future will blossom. 31/34
Everyone deserves a pleasant experience of life. If we want to establish human rights across the planet, we need to start thinking beyond national boundaries. Everyone should have the same rights and face the same justice system. 32/34
Mysticism is not about performing miracles. Mysticism is a profound exploration of the Miracle of life, which is not perceivable by the five senses. Playfulness is the nature of creation and the Creator. If you are in tune with them, you are naturally playful. 33/34
Life is not about peace, but if you do not know peace, you will never know life. This year, may all of us have the Courage, Commitment, and the Consciousness to make better Humans of ourselves, and, in turn, a better world.”

Thinking about India 🇮🇳 It’s own people and the stranded Aussies. I got a call at 4am from my friend I met there when I went to see the Dalai Lama. He said the situation is devastating. He said he’s seen over 100 people die each day. Half of the bodies are left dead 1/6
because people are either too scared to catch the virus or they cannot afford to cremate them. He said most of the paramedics are good. However, one paramedic just chucks each body on the ground once he realises the person is dead. My friend said one of these bodies 2/6
was the father of a 13 and 15 year old who watched the paramedic just dump their dead father next to the river. My friend helped the children and made sure their father was looked after in a dignified manner for their last moments together. 3/6

Why identity and privilege matter: Yesterday in Sydney Morning Herald Lakita Bourke (2021) wrote:“Prime Minister Scott Morrison says identity politics and the moral corrosion caused by the misuse of social media are forces seeking to undermine society.” 1/56 #Justice4Australia
“Mr Morrison made the remarks in a speech – in which he repeatedly referred to his Pentecostal faith – called “the responsibility of citizens in building community to achieve national success”. Morrison told an audience “as citizens, we cannot allow what we think we are 2/56
entitled to, to become more important than what we are responsible for.” So what is identity politics, how does it relate to entitlement and responsibility, and why does Morrison think it undermines society? Bisexual Muslim Poet @OmarjSakr (2017) commented for SBS: 3/56

What is #Justice4Australia? I joined Twitter to see if Trump would win or lose the US election. I had not watched the news or followed politics for years; too much, too soon had made me unwell: Psychosis. I saw Trump’s tweets and thought, ‘Is this guy for real!? 1/36
I had no clue then I would be thanking him now. Trump introduced me to the wonderful world of Twitter; incredibly talented minds constantly fact checking his tweets. Journalists, lawyers, doctors, psychologists, professors. Others with no qualifications equally impressive. 2/36
It was so refreshing to read quality responses, to see humour used to make people feel safe in a world seemingly, increasingly mad, and available to people all around the world for free. I did not know Tharnicaa and Kopika would bring me towards 3/36

Dalai Lama: “On Earth Day 2021, I appeal to my brothers and sisters throughout the world to look at both the challenges and the opportunities before us on this one blue planet that we share. I often joke that 1/10 #Justice4Australia
the moon and stars look beautiful, but if any of us tried to live on them, we would be miserable. This planet of ours is a delightful habitat. Its life is our life, its future our future. Indeed, earth acts like a mother to us all. Like children, we are dependent on her. 2/10
In the face of such global problems as effect of global heating and depletion of ozone layer, individual organizations and single nations are helpless. Unless we work together, no solution can be found. Our mother earth is teaching us a lesson in universal
responsibility. 3/10
