Bulking CAN and DOES work, but only IF the right conditions are met
1) You need to be LEAN when you start. 8-10% bodyfat range
2) You need to bulk SLOWLY. Gaining 1lb a week. 4lbs a month.
1/5
3) You stop bulking once you get to the Mid Teens of bodyfat percentage. 15-17% bodyfat
4) You keep your weight in a holding pattern for a LONG TIME. 6 months minumum, up to 1-2 years even if you are SERIOUS about muscle gain
2/5
5) You MUST prioritize progressive Overload. You need to get as STRONG AS POSSIBLE at your heavier weight
6) After you have done the above, THEN you begin to "cut" and reach a leaner weight, with added muscle tissue and increased strength levels
3/5
7) I do NOT recommend "Bulking" unless you are a NOOB, and naturally SKINNY.
OR, if you are an ADVANCED lifter, your natural gains have slowed and you are past the 4-5 year mark of training, and you want to push for greater muscle gains for a long period of time
4/5
8) For the majority of people, you will be better off gaining muscle by eating at maintenance caloric intake with a slight surplus on training days, and simply doing that year around
Trying to rapidly gain weight rarely works as well as anyone hopes
We are sent into this world to develop our own personality –
to use such gifts as we have been given and to set an example to others by our courage, fortitude, sympathy, generosity and self-reliance...
Any state which controls the lives of the people and dictates where they shall live,
what work they shall do,
what they shall see, say, hear, read and think, thwarts the free development of personality, and is therefore EVIL...
It will be immensely difficult to break the stranglehold of the machine, but it can be done, little by little; the first step being the formation of secret groups of friends for free discussion...
"To think" is to follow a top down narrative given by someone else.
Everything must be reduced to topical subjects, bullet points, top 10 lists, listicles
"Thoughts?" is considered a question that can be asked.
Not how what when where why, just "thoughts".
Give me "thoughts".
Maybe its because my audience has gradually begin to skew younger, or because I have gotten older, but I continuously receive questions now in which the person asking, usually a young man, he does not KNOW how to ask a question.
