I originally ordered major appliances from @HomeDepot back in January. It was the pandemic, so I wasn’t surprised when they told me that shipping would take three months. The supply chain was backed up while everyone figured out COVID.
But guess what, this is the end of April, and @HomeDepot just called for the THIRD time in three months to tell me that my appliances won’t be arriving on time. They’ve scheduled THREE times already.
And every time, they wait until a few days before the delivery date to tell me that it will be another month or more. The new projection is June 4th. Well, hold on. I don’t have no money. And I don’t have no merchandise.
And now they’ve kicked the can down the road another month and a half. So we’re looking at six months total HELL NAW! I just called Home Depot and put foots in ‘em!
The idiot that they had on the phone was too dumb to provide any certainty in the whereabouts of my appliances - "Dude, “supply chain” is a big freakin’ word. Is my shit even manufactured yet? Is it in shipping? Has it been shipped? Is it stuck in transit?
WHERE are my appliances right damn now? Exactly where is it in the "supply chain”? And...he was not empowered enough to offer ANY recompense for my inconvenience. “Let me help you out, Pal. Y’ALL CANCELLED! GIMME MY DAMN MONEY BACK!!!”
So I just cancelled my WHOLE order, a whole suite of appliances, and I’m going to take my $4,676.82 refund and head on over to Lowe’s which is RIGHT around the corner from Home Depot.
Business Students, let this serve as a lesson to you. Today’s shenanigans are a PERFECT example of how a stockout, when inventory for a particular product is exhausted and unavailable for purchase at retail, leads to a loss-of-goodwill...
...the price value added per the relation customers develop with a company via their products. The price of the loss of goodwill is determined by order cancellation fees, backorder fees, the cost of losing a customer, as well as any ensuing garnishment of the companies' brand.
For example, Home Depot isn’t just losing me as a customer. How many of Home Depot’s 5 million followers on Facebook might be negatively influenced by this post and shop at Lowe’s instead?
And considering that there are already nationwide calls to boycott Home Depot, seems like they would have gone out of their way to find me a solution for my problem.
Home Depot has plenty of smart people, but what they need are more problem solvers. That cat that answered the phone this morning wasn’t hittin’ on NOTHIN’!
And get this. Dude says, "Sir, it's going to take 5 to 10 business days to issue your refund." Me: "Mah Man, it didn't take me 5 to 10 business days to pay! HELLYOUTALMBOUT!"
And Home Depot, I know y’all gone read this. My order number was H1701-585870. Y'all 1) MUST do better than this. And 2) better hit me quick because I'm literally right around the corner from Lowe's... @HomeDepot@HomeDepotCares
Yup. There’s NOTHING like competition to drive free economy. After @HomeDepot dropped the ball, me and my refund drove right around the corner to @Lowes! My fellow #Americans, don’t settle! Demand customer service! #boycott@HomeDepotCares

Okay, so I've FINALLY figured out what @JoeBiden said. However, I don't think what Joe Biden said is the real issue because I've said the SAME thing several times myself.
There's a whole LOT of people that I wish y'all would hate on instead of Joe damn Biden! But let's not let Joe off the hook. Joe's problem is not what Joe said; but rather, what Joe DIDN'T say.
Senator @KamalaHarris, although @TreHU92 supports your campaign with great gusto and enthusiasm, he is unable to enlighten me on the specifics of your platform with respect to any #BlackAgenda that you may have. Ma'am, can you address the following: #2020election
While White America has made it clear that reparations for Slavery and Jim Crow are not up for debate, that doesn’t mean that other economic equalizers cannot be put into place. What is your approach to making the economy more fair and balanced with respect to Black America?
Considering your prosecutorial record vs Black men while Attorney General of California, what is your assessment of policing in America and what do you intend to do to improve it?
