1. Targeted resume:

This is something you already know. When you update your resume based on researching a particular role or company then you've created a targeted resumé.

Targeted resumes use key phrases and words to align your resume with an advertised role.
For a targeted resumé:

-research the role advertised
-watch out for phrases and keywords
-identify words and phrases that align with you
-update your current resumé to align with role and org

Targeted resumés are time-consuming but help in bypassing Applicant Tracking Systems.
