As of 8 a.m. this morning, people age 18 or older living in any of the 53 Province of Ontario hot spot postal codes were able to book vaccination appointments at City-operated immunization clinics using the provincial vaccination booking system.
Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., more than 40,000 people successfully booked first and second dose vaccine appointments at a City-operated clinic. Of the more than 80,000 appointments this week at City-run clinics, as of 1 p.m., there were approx 3,900 available appointments remaining.

Following a successful first two weeks rolling out the Toronto Sprint Strategy, the #CityofTO and #TeamToronto vaccination partners continue to prioritize postal code areas with high rates of #COVID19 for mobile and pop-up clinic vaccinations
The Sprint Strategy targeted 13 postal code areas last week and tripled the number of per-week doses available to the prioritized communities. Over the course of the week, vaccine coverage of adults age 18 and older in the 13 areas moved from approximately 12% to more than 35%.

The City is committed to ensuring equitable access to #COVID19 vaccines for everyone. The Province of Ontario has clearly stated that if you do not have an Ontario health card at all, you are still eligible for the vaccine.
