Everyone is BUSY ❌

All of the time.

But it doesn't always feel like we get anything done.

There is a simple way to actually see where your time goes and how you can make the most of every single day.

I used this strategy to effectively save 10-20 hours a week ✅

First, you need to track how you are spending your time RIGHT NOW ⏰

Open up @googledrive and create a new Sheet.

Title it: Daily Time Tracking.

You will need three columns.

1️⃣ Time
2️⃣ Activity
3️⃣ Category

We want to keep it simple and easy to manage.

First column, TIME ⌚

You will create a new row for every 15 minutes.

From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep.

It will be a lot of rows.

If you wake up at 7:30am and go to bed at 11pm

= 62 Rows ✅

Second Column, ACTIVITY 🏃‍♂️

Every 15 minutes write a quick description of what you did:

💪 Lifted Weights
✉️ Send Client Emails
📱 Scrolled on Instagram
📖 Read 8 Pages

🚨 This REQUIRES being honest with yourself about what you are actually doing in that 15 minute time slot.

Third Column, CATEGORY 📦

Create six options in this column:

👉🏻 Meetings (Zoom/Phone)
👉🏻 Grind Work (Emails/Coding)
👉🏻 Personal (Shower/Eating)
👉🏻 Leisure (Netflix/Social Media)
👉🏻 Family (Kids/SO)
👉🏻 Life (Grocery Shopping)

Now you are ready to start your day.

It's time for DATA COLLECTION 📊

Open up the google sheet on your phone.

Set a timer for every 15 minutes 🕒

Fill in the row for the corresponding time.

It's annoying, but saving 10-20 hours a week isn't meant to be easy.

At the end of the day, you are ready for phase 2 🚀

Now, it's time for ASSESSMENT 👀

Highlight each row with 1 of 3 colors 🚦

Red = WASTED 👉🏻 Remove
Yellow = REPEATABLE 👉🏻 Outsource
Green = PRODUCTIVE 👉🏻 Do

Seeing a lot of red and yellow?

There's the problem.

GREEN tasks are your sweet spot:
✅ Only tasks you CAN do
✅ Only tasks you SHOULD do
✅ Only tasks you WILL keep doing

YELLOW tasks are maleable:
⭐ Automate Process
⭐ Delegate Work

RED tasks are dangerous:
❌ Unnecessary
❌ Distractions

Treat each color accordingly.
