What even is democracy asks the New York Times 😎 perhaps we should consider the modest proposal that democracy is when the CIA choice wins and despotism is when a commie wins .

Highly recommend reading about postwar Italy if you’re feeling unmoored lately, both the “strategy of tension“ and CIA election interference will illuminate what is currently occurring in the USA, you will feel uneasy but also far more sane because you are not imagining things.

ty everyone 😂 I am not saying it’s same as ‘08 . I’m very aware of subprime mortgage crisis, I’m saying it’s a different insane quantitative easing backed bubble that will make ‘08 look like an afternoon at Disney world. CMBS+QEIII+flooding of money markets+stalled velocity=⏰💣

The group of people buying homes do “have the money” this time but they have the money because the federal reserve electronically printed it in a very compressed span of time. And now vast tranches are sitting in accounts and it’s not moving. So more is printed. And prices go up.
