Benefits of chanting Aigiri Nandini Stotram or other Stotram !!

You can chant it at anytime of the day.There are no restrictions.Just do it when you feel like it,when you feel you are calm,composed,focused,and have the time to chant it uninterrupted

Benefits of chanting the Mahishasura Mardini stotra, or any other stotram for that matter, are of five kinds:

1. Warding off evils, like evil people, etc. from life, warding off troubles, tribulations, humiliations, misfortune, disasters to the maximum extent,

warding off ill health, warding off bad luck, and being safe and protected.

2. Rectifying the mind, heart and intellect from its errors, avoiding bad and stupid and foolish decisions, removing bad thoughts, removing depression, anxiety, fear, anger, negativity, etc.

Aigiri Nandini Stotram !!!

It was composed by Shri Adi Shankaracharya. Mahishasura Mardini stotram is based on Devi Mahatmyam in which Devi takes the forms of Durga in Chandika Form to slay Mahishasura.

This stotra is said to have been composed or been dedicated to Ramakrishna Kavi as well as Sri Adi Shankaracharya both. Detailed Story of Mahishasura is available in Durga Saptashati in chapter 2,3 and 4 and also can be found in Devi Mahatmyam or Devi Bhagwati puraan.

Mahishasura Mardini is the stotra of Maa Durga Narrated in Chandi path in Durga Saptashati. This stotra is named Mahishasura Mardini as Maa Durga has defeated demon Mahishasura while taking chandi form.

What are Mantras?

So the sound waves affect both the atmosphere outside as well as inside us.“Mantra” a Sanskrit expression has its root in “Mann” and Mann denotes ‘mind.’it came from its root “Manan” which means ‘churning’ because it is the nature of the mind that it churns and churns and churns

to ‘draw’ meaningful understanding and then to perform. Since Mantras are sound decibels, they may not always form meaningful texts and Rig Veda has several such Mantras.

श्री भगवत गीता ज्ञान जो सफलता प्राप्त करने में सहायक होता है।

१. गुस्से पर काबू - 'क्रोध से भ्रम पैदा होता है. भ्रम से बुद्धि व्यग्र होती है. जब बुद्धि व्यग्र होती है तब तर्क नष्ट हो जाता है. जब तर्क नष्ट होता है तब व्यक्ति का पतन हो जाता है.'

२. देखने का नजरिया - 'जो ज्ञानी व्यक्ति ज्ञान और कर्म को एक रूप में देखता है, उसी का नजरिया सही है.'

३. मन पर नियंत्रण - 'जो मन को नियंत्रित नहीं करते उनके लिए वह शत्रु के समान कार्य करता है.'

४. खुद का आकलन - 'आत्म-ज्ञान की तलवार से काटकर अपने ह्रदय से अज्ञान के संदेह को अलग कर दो. अनुशासित रहो, उठो.'

५. खुद का निर्माण- मनुष्य अपने विश्वास से निर्मित होता है। जैसा विश्वास करता है वह वैसा ही बन जाता है।

६. हर काम का फल मिलता है- इस जीवन में कुछ भी व्यर्थ नहीं होता।
