I always find it interesting that everyone's answer to 'vegetarian food is bad' is Indian food. The majority of Indians are not vegetarian. The majority of the food consumed in India is vegetarian and that's because of a host of factors, including necessity and availability.
I support sustainable food practices for sure, but making sweeping generalizations about a culture or cuisine can be harmful for all the various communities, especially given the religious/political context at the moment.
(And yes, the food, all of it, is beyond delicious)
One more thing! I actually think this nuance is really helpful for climate change interventions. The fact that you can have a plant-centric food system without telling people to fully adopt one or the other lifestyle feels like a win-win.
