so a great pitcher on a poor hitting team who constantly gets matched with other great pitchers in the rotation on better hitting teams seems to be the reasonable explanation

i wonder if there are examples where pitchers went elsewhere and still got no run support

like the rest of the team just kinda relaxes when de grom is on the mound like he's got this i will save my stuff for tomorrow
