Evidence suggests that pandemic is moving eastward & rise has been observed in daily cases & mortality here. 5 critical areas of action were discussed for addressing needs & challenges of recent phase of COVID19: Union Health Ministry
States were advised to ensure that performance linked payments of Community Health Officers (CHOs) at Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centres (HWCs) & incentives to ANMs & health workers are paid timely. NHM funds to the states may be utilized for this purpose: MoHFW
Every month 50% of Central Drugs Laboratory (CDL) cleared vaccine doses of manufacturers would be available for direct procurement by state govts & pvt hospitals. States advised to clear payment of manufactures so that consignments could be delivered in timely manner: MoHFW
Government of India would continue to procure its share of 50% of monthly CDL cleared vaccines & would continue to make it available to state govts free of cost as was done earlier: Union Health Ministry
