four months after Trump leaves office, NYT puts “lies” in headline

progress, I guess....
it’s confirmation that NYT could’ve done this for 5 yrs.

it chose not to
funny what happens when NYT no longer seeks access
when Maggie Haberman had direct access to Trump, which NYT treasured, the newsroom danced around calling him a liar.

just a coincidence, I'm sure
I wrote this last month: "Do you think Haberman would have received privileged access to Trump if each day her employer were publishing "Trump Lies" headlines?"

i'd been meaning to do this for a long time, and was prompted today by the Times' umpteenth update on middle-age, white Trump voters in red states.

it's been a 5-yr obsession for the paper.
i decided to collect some of the pics the Times has run over the years in all these voter stories.

so behold the kaleidoscopic of diversity of NYT has been documenting in its political reporting.

btw I love the pointless “heartbreak” angle they use. anyone surprised Iowa voted for Trump hasn’t been paying attention
NYT remains absolutely committed to the idea that middle aged white, rural voters are the most important voices in American politics.
