It’s not you, it’s your domestic extremism problem that is clearly out of hand. It’s your Pentagon, Senate and Congress that’s harbouring seditionists and traitors. Your out of control social media and penchant to allow hate speech as free.

It’s already influenced enough of the Canadian citizenry for my liking. And most of the Canadian electorate agrees.

How about you tone down the toxic rhetoric coming from far right conspiracy theorists and over zealous progressive left libertarians?

Kinda liked being your neighbour for a long time, but the nonsense has been getting out of hand the last while.

Besides, Republican conspiracy theorists have created quite the covid infection catastrophe here. Our conservatives have been mimicking your Republican despots.

I also can’t help but notice an alarming number of American and US trained Dominionist Christian Nationalists stirring up libertarian nuttery as pastors of extremist and radical congregations.

That’s how territories were colonized in the past. Send in the Christians first.

Canada is more of a liberal centrist humanist secular nation. Feel free to recall those aggressively proselytizing our population. It’s getting annoying, since it’s them and the white supremacists spreading covid.

And as far as that goes, the Christian spiritual soldiers are calling for outright insurrection in Canada. And consequently, in the US as well.

I believe the rest of Canada’s citizens would prefer you address that situation before it explodes.

If you’re going to have a civil war, or prevent one, we don’t want to be drawn into that drama. An open border would invite violence here.

Not sure if you’ve heard but Canada is far more peaceful than US society. We don’t like guns or rowdy libertarians.

So, maybe a pause before we get real chummy again? I look forward to the day we can be good neighbours again. But that raging party you had for four years left an awful mess. Let us know when you’re close to cleaning it up.
