Here are the secrets that I wish people would've told me earlier.

βYou are either going to be a failure or become the next Mark Zuckerbergβ
β My Writing 114 Professor
Neither of those things happened.
And it doesn't have to be so black and white.
Here's why....
Secret #1: Nobody Cares
I have never randomly been asked why I left school.
90% of the people I interact with donβt even realize I didnβt graduate.
People are so caught up in their own lives that they rarely think about yours.
Secret #2: You Never Think About It
I carried the burden of being a βdropoutβ for about 2 days.
Then, I kinda forgot about it.
Your college degree doesn't define you and neither does dropping out.
Secret #3: A Lot of People Didnβt Go To College
I have met 80+ millionaires in the past 5 years.
Itβs almost a 50β50 split on who finished college vs. who didnβt.
None of them regret their decision, on either side.
Secret #4: Your Value Isnβt Defined By A Degree
Value is value.
The amount of money you earn is directly correlated to the economic value you provide in the world.
Create your own value, create your own wealth.
Secret #5: $5,000/Month Isnβt Hard To Make
The average salary of a recent college graduate?
$51,000 per year.
$4,250 per month.
$26.50 per hour.
It may seem like a lot of money to a 22-year-old, but making $5,000 is a lot simpler than you think.
Secret #6: Explore Your Options
You donβt need to have your life βfigured outβ at 22.
Most people have 5-10 years before worrying about kids, a mortgage, or even a real financial plan.
Explore your passions and see what sticks.
Donβt be stupid, but be a little stupid.
Secret #7: Network > Piece of Paper
Find people who inspire you and reach out to them directly.
Provide value and ask questions.
Building relationships will bring you opportunities so you can break free from the βsafe betβ of college (if that's what you want).
TLDR: Dropping out of college doesn't have to be scary and here's why:

2β£You Never Think About It
3β£A Lot of People Didnβt Go To College
4β£Your Value Isnβt Defined By A Degree
