A priori, I'd say that if somebody tell me that half of deaths in some geriatric disease are young adult, I'd check it thousands times before stating that. That makes her completely clueless about the disease she is talking about in such a self confidence.
Or she knew and nevertheless said that. What's called in Israel "shitat matzliach". You try. If if work, good, else correct yourself. Worst case, no harm done.

usually most of the CASES are young people. Because there are more of them and they have more interactions. There is nothing new about that and nothing that should bother us.
She tries to mix things up:

And they are not even slightly bothered by the idea that half of the death in this geriatric disease are young adults. They based a theory on it: "of course, it's due to vaccination rates"...
i. e. not only the don't know the current data, they don't even have a context of how this disease/pandemic behaves. You can tell them that yesterday people were blown up in flames by covid, and they'd be like "OK, if Google says so"...
